Safaricom can do better. ### 3/5 — Update *2026-02-11, version 3.5.5* The Business App is requesting to update before using, there’s no updated version on the App Store, going in circles ### 3/5 — No transaction alerts *2026-01-31, version 3.5.5* There’s a toggle for “Transaction Alerts” but despite all notifications being permitted in iOS settings, no alerts/notifications are received on device. If that’s possible. *2024-10-22* When first installed 3 years ago it was working ok. Now after several updates it’s gotten worse and worse. Transactions may reflect in the balance but the transaction list is a week behind!!!! When using it to pay it often lags and transactions can take several minutes, especially paybill and buy goods. Send money usually works ok, but is not something businesses use often. This is an App from a network provider and using their network, how can it be this awful???? If there was another option I’d be using it. Well here we are a few months later and more comments to make. - that last update has finally ground to an almost halt. Opening can take 20-30 seconds and transactions the same sort of time. Does Safaricom actually use testers who own businesses or it’s all simulations??? Been noticing many suppliers not allowing “ till to till” payments as it takes too long to reflect at their till, but unnoticed by the “developers” here. Latest update -Oct 2024 and hurray it’s faster ( still slow though). Oh and now for some bizarre reason the list of transactions is double spaced- so takes twice as long to scroll through them!!! Generating statements still does not work for Excel or PDF export. Tried deleting it and reinstalling, still the same message. This is supposed to be a Business App, if I ran my business this ineptly I’d be bankrupt. Customer services are getting bad with rude agents. They app keeps on saying unable to get your number.
