## What is M4BeaconConfig?

M4 Beacon Config is the official configuration tool for Holden International M4 IB-A series BLE beacons, including the IB-A300, IB-A600, IB-A700, and IB-A800 models.

Supports both M4 Line Simple Beacon and M4 Security Beacon firmware. The app automatically detects which parameters are available on each connected device and shows only the relevant controls.

KEY FEATURES

•	Read and write all GATT configuration parameters
•	Configure UUID, Major/Minor, RSSI Calibration, Manufacturer ID, Advertising Interval, TX Power, and LED

•	Automatic GATT attribute detection — fields shown only when supported by the connected device
•	Traditional Chinese (繁體中文) language support

HOW TO USE
1.	Place the beacon in configuration mode by pressing its button or power cycling.
2.	Open the app and tap Scan Beacon to find nearby M4 beacons.
3.	Tap a beacon to connect. The app reads all current settings automatically.
4.	Tap any parameter to edit and write the new value.
5.	Disconnect — the beacon immediately broadcasts with the new settings.

•	UUID Editor — Now split into 5 individual segment fields (8-4-4-4-12). Each segment auto-advances when full, making UUID entry fast and error-free.
•	Advertising Interval — New logarithmic slider (100 ms to 100,000 ms). The lower range (100–1,000 ms) now takes up most of the slider for precise control. Includes 8 quick preset buttons.
•	TX Power — Now shows a live signal strength bar indicator and a plain-English description for each power level, so you know exactly what each setting means.
•	Device Message — New dual ASCII/Hex editor. Switch between modes with a tap. Live preview shows both representations simultaneously so you can see the meaning of the bytes at a glance.
•	Pairing PIN — When a pairing prompt appears during connection, the app now displays the default PIN (668866) and a note to contact support if it doesn't work.
•	Connection Timeout — A Cancel button on the connecting screen and an automatic 15-second timeout prevent the app from getting stuck during connection.
•	GATT Auto-Detection — Fields are now hidden at the individual characteristic level. Only the parameters your specific beacon supports are shown.
•	Two-line display for UUID and Device Message in the parameter list for better readability.
