App doesn’t even work and there were no numbers on the charger station to identify which one was connected to our car. So we had to charge via QR code and the web version. 70 cent / kWh and a service fee of 1.99. Yuck! Oh and they block 80 Euros on your credit card. In the end we paid 15 Euros for a little energy. Welcome to Germany. 🤮 Never again! Even Tesla is cheaper.

Regarding the pricing: The rates displayed are set by the respective charging station operators, not by us. Ad-hoc / direct pay rates (without prior registration) are typically higher than contract-based tariffs. The temporary hold of 80 EUR on your credit card is a standard pre-authorization used across the industry to ensure payment – only the actual charging amount is ultimately charged.

This app and company will not allow you to start charging remotely. Once it gets to the charge level in your car, it turns off and cannot be restarted. Really bothersome if you use your sentry mode in the garage or only charge it to 60, as it will be sitting plugged up for days. I really wish FRA did not use this company with their eParking in the business garage.
