La Macelleria Callegari nasce nel 1961 grazie al “Nonno” Umberto, che sin da subito si concentra nella ricerca di qualità ed eccellenze Piacentine. Nel 1998 subentra nell’attività il figlio Claudio con la moglie Donatella, che seguendo le orme di suo padre, approfondisce lo studio dei prodotti e delle carni che commercia. Nel 2012, grazie all’intuito di Claudio e di suo figlio Fabio (subentrato nella gestione familiare), La Macelleria diventa anche ristorante ”informale”, un punto di ritrovo dove pranzare e cenare in un’atmosfera conviviale e casalinga. La costante ricerca della qualità e dell'eccellenza spazia sia a livello provinciale che nazionale, spingendosi sino ai territori oltreoceano. Claudio grazie alla passione per carni continentali e intercontinentali si guadagna presto il titolo di ”The Butcher”, che lo vede come uno dei pionieri della vendita di esse (es.
