It said checking, then froze at the updating account, showing the spinning sprocket. ### 1/5 — Online shopping *2022-06-17, version 3.3.4* The online shopping never works. I would love to use it if it did work. ### 1/5 — App won’t work - can’t online order *2022-06-02, version 3.3.4* I’m sick and wanted to do online shopping but the app won’t even let me select a location to do so. What is this 2002?? ### 1/5 — Worst grocery app ever *2021-12-31* I can’t even start my online order. I choose a store and click the Shop this Store button and it doesn’t do anything. I like Maceys but need to be able to order online and have it delivered. I have tried to use it several times on different days but it never works correctly. Specifically the select a location buttons so you can start ordering. Plus the part where you add the amount of red button ice cream purchased (buy 12 get one free) doesn’t work! So disappointed!!! ### 1/5 — Unable to Create Accounts & iPhone *2020-06-23* I was so excited about the NEW Santaquin, Utah store and the APP took that away. It won’t allow me to register, unable to enter birthday on iPhone, and I ended up deleting it. Too bad because Smith’s is only 2 miles away. This is App is EXTREMELY outdated. Macy’s management needs to get rid their App and tech employees and hire new people who actually know what they are doing in the year 2020. I’ll be writing the head management to hopefully address this issue. ### 1/5 — App has glitches *2020-01-15* App has glitches. Sometimes it won’t post the weekly ad. Right now it won’t let me view the weekly ad. It says “Error, Can’t connect to server. Try again later.” It has been doing this all day. I hate having to go to the Macey’s website to check the weekly ad. It defeats the purpose of the ap. Please fix. Update review. This is the worst app I have ever used. Last week the weekly add didn’t show up on the app. This week. I can’t get certain sale items to add to my shopping list. I get the error “Log in to add to shopping list”. I was already logged into the app. I logged out of the app to log back in, it gave me an error “Can’t connect time server”. I rebooted my phone and deleted the app and re-downloaded it. I tried loading in again. I got the same error, “Can’t connect to server”. So now I can’t log into the app. This app has so many issues. I love shopping at Macey’s, but your app needs to be redone. Just moved close to a Maceys and have tried to use the app to make an order multiple times. One time I was able to check out and my order was randomly canceled right after. And then I’ve tried to do a pickup order multiple times and when I click on “checkout” after filling up my cart it does not take me to the checkout page. It just glitches and takes me back to the home page. After a few times of trying it, it will delete my whole cart. ### 1/5 — Where’s Pharmacy? *2025-10-19, version 5.88.2* I cannot find Pharmacy access in the new app. I need to reorder meds and it seems it’s not part of the new app. Very disappointed. ### 1/5 — Worst shopping app *2024-05-16, version 4.2.1* I have used several other store apps and this one is by far the worst! ### 1/5 — Would be nice if it worked *2024-02-14* I noticed an ad for some groceries that expires “today” (the current day I’m writing). And it won’t let me add some of the coupons to my account. Also, trying to order something for delivery for the app just takes you to a clunky website. This is the way apps used to work 12-13 years ago. Its 2023, this should be updated. ### 2/5 — Not very impressed. *2019-10-05* I couldn’t get logged in to the original install. I tried the help request but never got a response. Tried again with a different email and it worked. To find specials you have to manually search through categories because no search figure.
