The app to control my Mackie DL32S is very good from my iPad, but on my iPhone I can only control the Main, Aux, FX etc faders and I can't manipulate EQs, Dynamics, and more options, on iPhone the app is more limited. It would also be great to be able to have full control of my mixer from my iPhone 🙏🏼 I hope they can make that possible in some other update. Thanks and greetings to all the support and team at Mackie.

Why is it so hard to build a compatible version of master fader 5 for older iPads? Midas and behringer do for their users and most older iPads are compatible with their mixers!!! What a let down!!!

This has to be one of the worst supported products since Yamaha’s mLan protocol.

Users have been left for years now with a buggy, unfinished firmware and unreliable app. The flagship DL32R can’t take advantage of the additional FX or multiple platform musing unless it inherits a host of new problems in v5.

More to the point, instead of fixing these issues, Mackie censor and delete comments on social media which point out their failings.

If you’re going to abandon a product, at least leave the investors with a final stable version of the software.

かれこれ２年以上使ってます。
DL16SとiPadair3の組み合わせで、
ルーターはmacのエアマックエクスプレス
内臓wifiは無効にして、外部ルーターのみ
設定ですが、アップル同士なので、
最優先で接続しようと勝手にします。
air playの3.5mm出力も意外と便利で
リファレンス流すのに使ったりしてますが、
フリーズ等はありませんです。
ミキサー側もコントロール切れても現状維持
してくれるので、接続復活すればミキサー側の
状態表示になり、安心して使えます。
Ver5から有線LANにも対応してくれているので、
保険でpc(win機)も繋いでますが、
ほとんで出番がないですね。
リバーブの細かい設定とか、トリム等に
ダイレクトに数値入力出来たりとか
細かいところに、使い込むと良さが
わかってくるのかな？
SE出たんで違いが気になりますが。

I’ve had my DL32R for years now, have used it at a large number of venue's, multiple applications and have not had 1 issue with the system. (After I found the proper Wi-Fi). I have nothing but good things to say about it! Great system.

The app is great the mixer is great. I love that I can set the gain and the trim separately, but before I started using an external router it would disconnect every I would say five seconds I was in the middle of a job and it was so bad so make sure you have an external router it’s not the app

Desde q lo usé en 2013 con mi Dl1608 fue duro pero hoy lo sigo usando después de varios años ahora con mi DL32s una completa maravilla 🙏 Soy de Ecuador y adoro la marca Makie 😍Inicie con esos y lo seguiré haciendo 🙂Gracias mackie por innovar con cosas pequeñas pero con PODER 🤨 No se necesita cantidad, cosas grandes para dar un gran espectáculo. Been using Master Fader 4 for several years and recently updated. I like to run my click tracks and have access to Master Fader via the split screen option, but the split screen function is no longer supported in Master Fader5; however, the quarter screen works just as well.

Credit where credit is due. I can’t say my experience has been utterly flawless, but on the whole I think Mackie deserves better than a 3.1 (as of today) average rating. Once I upgraded my router from AC1200 to AC1750 any lag, latency, and connection issues were gone. It’s powerful and intuitive. I’ll gladly welcome improvements, updates, and additions, but this is a great platform.
