In the best way. You get real reactions, actual personality, and the occasional delightful awkward moment. It’s like speed dating meets improv, and it tells you way more than six flawless selfies ever could. ### 5/5 — For My Camera Shy People *2026-04-22, version 1.0* I got to try Mackinaw during the beta and it was a really cool experience. As someone who’s usually camera shy, I thought the video prompts might feel awkward but it ended up being super natural and fun. It’s a refreshing change from typical dating apps, everything feels more real and in the moment. Definitely worth checking out. ## Frequently asked questions about Mackinaw ### What is Mackinaw?
