There is no reason why entering in the correct answer still results in an answer being wrong because of a common error like a comma placement or space. The margin for error in this software is incredibly high which makes writing in numbers and equations especially difficult and disadvantageous to the student and their experience in the class. This difference is sometimes what takes an A from a B, and it should not represent the student’s true ability.
