## What is Macquarie Island Field Guide?

The Macquarie Island Conservation Foundation, in collaboration with numerous scientific experts, brings you the first definitive, digital field guide for Macquarie Island. It includes over 130 species; all of the birds and seals that breed on the island, all of the vascular plants, introduced pests and weeds, a selection of unique or dominant insects and seaweeds, common cetaceans (whales/dolphins) and historical information for eradicated and extinct species. Stunning imagery, select audio, threat listings, broad information and facts unique to Macquarie Island are provided, along with a 'personal sightings' curation feature. The guide serves as an educational resource, a tool to assist more broadly in monitoring, and a point of connection to the island’s treasured natural values.
