Unfortunately, the app is so unbelievably slow that I’m forced to stop using it. It takes 2 minutes to load one page and my worse nightmare is clicking on something I didn’t mean to and having to wait for it to load. Not sure if this is only my experience but I’m not having this issue with other apps. ### 2/5 — Needs more styles *2024-11-28, version 1.7.8* I agree with another review that suggested offering more styles (indie, goth, alt, etc). Right now it’s really geared towards people who dress in the chic, minimalist/classy, feminine style. For me though, it’s not super useful as is. But requiring me to accept marketing emails and push notifications is invasive. This app is for people who shop. I’m going to spend my money on things- I don’t need to be harassed by an app to do it. 👎 ### 1/5 — Unusable- too many bugs *2024-10-02, version 1.7.3* Can't replace items in the ai styling. When I click on specific designers it just shows me the same items that are not by that designer. Ai styling seems to just be randomly throwing together objects. ### 1/5 — Ordering Nightmare *2023-07-24, version 1.6.16* I placed an order and was charged but never received an email confirmation. Tried to reach out to customer service and received no response. Idea is great and app seemed easy to use, but execution is lacking. ### 1/5 — not goth/emo friendly *2022-08-25, version 1.6.10* a recommendation, add styles other than basic. ### 1/5 — Have you read the Permissions you must agree to for this app?? *2020-12-04, version 1.6.1* I read about this app in Entrepreneur magazine and was excited to support the new, small start up over the well-funded competitor that launched at the same time as Mada. I happily answered all the style questions, then reviewed the permissions to which we all must agree by using this app. Whoa!! I know most apps use lots of information that we might prefer not to have floating around out there, but literally *EVERYTHING* was listed as open territory for this app to use, well beyond the expected payment information, telephone number, email etc, but also Social Security numbers, Passport and drivers license numbers; “professional and employment history” including current job and job history; “non public education information” such as grades, transcripts, student schedules, class lists, student disciplinary records, student financial records and on and on!! Oh, then there’s their “Inferences drawn from other information” including your psychological profile, intelligence, attitudes, abilities and aptitudes, to name just a few. Then there are pages explaining where all this personally sensitive information can be sent and sold to. Unless you are a resident of Europe or California, you have limited recourse, even if you change your mind. Sure, you can request to block certain cookies or delete certain information or stop processing certain details about you, but then the app does not work in many instances and in any case they make it clear that they have the right to retain the information collected on you INDEFINITELY. All loopholes that might allow you to feel more comfortable with all your personal information being collected and distributed is vague and uses terms like “when/as necessary,” “as soon as reasonably possible,” “if possible”, etc. You are literally giving up every right to privacy and personal information by using this app. I’m sure it’s not the only app like this, but it’s the only one that I have recently seen everything laid out with absolutely no sense of hope that I can control what happens to my information. If this was for something more important than shopping, maybe I would relax a bit, but I’m not giving up this amount of information just so I can browse fashion. Too bad, I was excited to give this a shot. ### 1/5 — App didn’t even work *2020-10-09, version 1.2.5* Does this app even work? I sit on the “loading outfit screen for like five minutes per outfit. Then I have to click shop items and swap something out to even be able to swipe left or right. Super buggy, doesn’t work. Would not recommend. ### 1/5 — All around waste of time *2020-09-10, version 1.1.24* Does this app only work with bottom basement brands? Why am I seeing the most off-trend, last season styles? None of this is fashion forward and the app definitely doesn’t “get me”. Also it has an unappealing design (hot pink and black looks like Hot topics!!) and is impossible to navigate. I want to browse and explore not just have gross styles pushed to me. ### 1/5 — I don’t like this app *2020-08-14, version 1.1.22* I don’t think this is a good app for multiple reasons & some being 1) they do NOT have good plus size options. It only goes up to a 2x, 18 in pants, and 18 in dresses 2) even when you clicking through the things you want to see & don’t want something or colors on you, it still shows EVERYTHING & keeps showing it after you swapped left or no on stuff you didn’t want to see anyways, it keeps showing up non stop 3) it’s extremely overpriced! I compared their clothings to other clothing apps & other clothing’s apps are WAY cheaper even for full outfits. 4) it should give you a choice on much money you are willing to spend on clothing because they sell everything extremely overpriced anyways! & that’s just SOME of the reasons why this app isn’t a good one! If you are looking for a clothing up this isn’t the app for you... there is a ton of better options ### 1/5 — All the signup effort wasted *2020-04-30, version 1.1.8* The app asks you many questions to gather your fashion taste preferences and THEN requires you to create login information. After I answered all of their questions, I input my email and a password and received an error message. I tried again. Error. Who created this app that there is an error and the message doesn’t explain what is causing it. And why make you go through all of these steps BEFORE you create an account only to lose all your responses? Wasted my time. ### 1/5 — App doesn’t work *2020-04-29, version 1.1.8* Cannot get past the registration screen.
