## What is MadBroad?

MadBroad is the field app for the MadBroad production team.

Sign in with a one-time code from the MadBroad web app and you'll see the work assigned to you, without digging through folders.MY WORK
See the shoots and concepts you're on the hook for in a single list. Tap any item to read its concept and script so you know exactly what to capture before you head out.

BROWSE
Look through brands, concepts, and shoots across the roster when you need context beyond your own assignments.

UPLOAD FOOTAGE
When a shoot wraps, send your clips to the right shoot straight from your phone. Uploads run in the background and keep going while you use other apps, so you can start the transfer and move on.

The app is read-and-upload only: you view your assignments and send footage in. It never changes production data on its own.

Access is limited to MadBroad team members.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.18 — 2026-10-13

College Walk is now MadBroad. The app has a new name and icon. Everything else works the same.

### 1.17 — 2026-09-20

The app keeps you logged in when your connection drops. It tries again on your next tap.

### 1.16 — 2026-09-11

Shoots stay on your list after the shoot day until you mark the footage uploaded. Open a shoot, upload your clips, then press Mark uploaded so the field manager knows every clip is in. Call times now show in the zone the shoot was booked in.

### 1.15 — 2026-09-05

Uploads now finish with the phone locked or the app closed. Pick your clips and put the phone away: the whole clip is handed to iOS at once, and an upload picks up where it stopped after a force-quit or a restart.
Each clip shows one progress line, and a clip that fails can be retried without re-sending what already landed.

### 1.14 — 2026-09-04

Placing shoots is faster.

Open a shoot from To place to read its brief and script before you assign it, then tap Assign to pick who is going and when.

A person's day now shows the whole week across the top. Tap any day to jump to it, or swipe left and right. The day itself reads as a day, with times down the side, booked shoots marked in blue and free time dashed.

Booking happens on that same screen: tap a free window, pick a shoot that fits, set the length and the start time, and book it. The separate booking screen is gone.

A shoot can no longer be booked into a time that has already passed.
