I had to contact customer services to confirm that they hadn’t processed the orders and I was informed that they could see the orders in the queue but were awaiting authorisation from my credit card company. I really wanted the item so have had to process the payment via another method. Massively let down by the app though. The latest version constantly freezes and crashes. And the most ridiculous thing: it doesn’t have a landscape mode. Furniture and rooms are best viewed in landscape and so for the app to only work in portrait mode is an error so fundamental, it makes me question whether Made are capable of providing the service they’re selling. ### 3/5 — Nice interface but Difficult to find products *2021-06-20, version 2.1.2* Overall the app is clean and easy to follow but the search does not always deliver the results you expect. For example not all of the things which match your criteria will be shown. Also it would be much easier to navigate if one product had all the combinations of material and shape available rather than listing them as separate products. ### 3/5 — Purchasing bug *2021-03-27, version 2.0.1* Hi, great app but there’s a purchasing bug. When you have to switch apps to get the code from your banks text message with code, the shopping basket empties. Had to turn on permanent notifications so it shows above the app to avoid switching apps. Hope that make sense to the devs 👍 ### 4/5 — lovely items and seamless app *2021-02-20, version 2.0.0* i love this company and everything they sell - literally have half the app in my wishlist BUT the only downside is that there isnt a landscape mode ### 2/5 — Payment *2021-01-27, version 1.7.0* Had a great deal of trouble placing my order. Had to contact Customer Services (who were very helpful I must stress) to try and get to the bottom of why my payment method didn’t work. Checked with my bank and they said it was authorised at their end and it must be Made.com. Eventually had to resort to another method and have finally placed the order hallelujah. It did cause quite a lot of stress at the time and we never did get to figure out why it failed. I didn’t even get a notification to say it failed. Now crashing ### 1/5 — Klarna *2022-10-02, version 2.5.5* Make it so hard to pay klarna by hiding behind the Apple Pay ### 1/5 — Stock not accurate *2022-07-25, version 2.5.3* Ordered a bed and it was listed as ‘express 5 day delivery’ but it actually wasn’t in stock in their warehouse. Wasted 2 week to find out what happened for them to just randomly cancelled my order. Not sure if it’s a bug between the app and their warehouse. In any case it’s not a reliable delivery time on the app. Avoid Made as they can’t deliver what they advertise. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work with Strong Customer Authentication *2022-07-24, version 2.5.3* If you leave the app to approve payment with your card provider, the order is lost and you have to start again and change payment methods. ### 1/5 — Latest update has got stuck *2022-04-01, version 2.4.0* 2.4 update has got stuck. You go into the app and it doesn’t let you do anything and instead says you must update to use…. you click on update and it takes you to the App Store, you click on open and it takes you right back. I even deleted and reinstalled the app and still can’t get in. ### 1/5 — 4 incorrect deliveries still no product *2022-02-24, version 2.3.2* As the subject says. Bizzare. ### 1/5 — Room visualiser app useless *2022-01-26, version 2.3.1* Boasts a feature that allows you to visualise furniture in your room. No instructions and does not work. “Something went wrong”. Rubbish! ### 1/5 — Portrait only 😖 *2021-07-18, version 2.1.3* This is one of those apps that assumes you’re on a phone. I’m not, I’m using an iPad + keyboard in landscape (Apple’s keyboard annoyingly doesn’t do portrait!). The app is therefore no use to me, as it’s stuck in portrait. Is allowing an app to switch between portrait and landscape so hard? Most manage.... App deleted. ### 1/5 — Broken checkout *2021-05-31, version 2.1.2* It keeps erroring when I try Apple Pay saying that it’s “missing information”. I tried paying with visa, and it just went back to the cart after I clicked “place order”. Finally managed to check out with PayPal. ### 1/5 — Discrimination *2021-03-02, version 2.0.0* Discrimination. I ordered 2 huge (way taller than me!) mirrors, very heavy, and a cushion, expecting the delivery to be at doorstep. Made.com only delivers down the building, and despite the fact that 1) I said I couldn’t carry anything heavy (condition) 2) I contacted them to check it would be doorstep delivery (they recently explained a pregnant friend to carry a heavy delivery on her own on 4 floors! Elegant...), they said that due to Covid, it was down the building... yet, they still assemble beds at home during lockdown if you pay... Made.com: stop using Covid to cover up for your laziness and discrimination. A little respect wouldn’t hurt (my back will with your deliveries). So I canceled the entire order explaining I didn’t want anything to do with Made.com, they accepted and promised to refund. But now not only they haven’t reimbursed but they are sending me the cushion I don’t want anymore and that was canceled.
