## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.14 — 2026-10-04

Stability improvements and ad integration refinements. Banners keep a compact height, remain visually separated from content, and no longer interfere with bottom navigation.

### 1.13 — 2026-10-02

We adjusted banner sizing to improve bottom navigation. Ads now take less height on iPhone and are better separated from the app content.

### 1.12 — 2026-09-30

Bus Madrid is an independent public transport utility for Madrid bus information. The app uses location only when the user opens the map flow and requests nearby stops. Location is not persisted by the app.

The app integrates Google Mobile Ads and Google UMP. The current Release configuration is prepared for AdMob's IDFA message and App Tracking Transparency if personalized ads remain enabled for submission. Final App Privacy answers must be completed from the archived build and the AdMob/ATT decision used for that release.

The current iOS build includes an optional Transport Card NFC reader. It is read-only: it can show available balance and active travel passes, and it does not write to the card, reload tickets or process payments. This flow requires a physical NFC-capable iPhone and should be documented in App Review Notes if the build is submitted with NFC visible.

The current build includes an Apple Watch companion app. The watch app lets users enter a stop ID, reuse recent stop IDs, and open stop arrivals, favorites or the map on the paired iPhone through WatchConnectivity. No account is required.

The app is not affiliated with EMT Madrid, CRTM, Madrid City Council or any public transport authority.

### 1.11 — 2026-09-29

Search, map and navigation improvements:

- A more convenient search screen with a fixed header, initial focus, and stop/line icons.
- The nearby-stop list can now be hidden to enjoy a full map view.
- Fixed headers and adaptive bottom banners in arrivals and line information.
- A more direct Transport Card reading flow and reviewed Spanish copy.

### 1.10 — 2026-09-26

Navigation, copy and privacy improvements:

- Opening a line from upcoming arrivals now keeps the selected destination in the header.
- Spanish copy fixes.
- Updated privacy/ad documentation and configuration.
