But saying that I’m sadly unable to play chapter two of Snow White when it makes you do the castle encounters where you come across the Mystic Seller every time I come across him my game completely freezes. ### 3/5 — Meh *2023-08-21* Cute story, cute characters, cute art, that’s really all that this game has to offer. The gameplay is just ok. It gets really boring really quick. Resources are also really annoying to grind for, despite being very important, seeing as the game seems to expect you to level up very fast at the very beginning. So, having characters levels locked behind resources you can’t grind for is very annoying. This game is definitely not for everyone. Wouldn’t recommend unless you’re willing to invest money into it. ### 4/5 — S+ drop % has GOT to be upped *2023-08-02* The game is very f2p it seems which is a good competitor to afk arena. But afk arena's f2p problem is not being able to progress. This one is not leveling partners. I dont want to feel like Im getting a hard slow down because I cant level up partners. Progressing is fine, but that will stop soon if you cant level up partners. Or make the certain amount of draws to S+ and not S. I have been playing this game for three weeks. it’s getting very repetitive. Suggestion cut the amount of adds back. Then it will become a better game. Plus give the human the ability to control the toons in the fight. ### 4/5 — Really fun *2023-07-26* I like this game a lot. Gems are easy to get. For once I honestly don’t feel like I cannot grow in a game without spending money. The reason I didn’t give this a 5 is because the message system is not very good. I’m guessing whoever designed it stares at fluorescent bulbs drooling on themselves. Could you possibly make it so it accepts more than 5 words with a 12 hour wait before you can post again? Oh how about making the filters more strict please? If you use a word with more than 2 syllables it filters you or is your target demographic people with an iq of 3? Is your iq 3 so you don’t want intelligent people insulting your obvious inability to outthink a stump? It doesn’t feel like you’re grinding for materials to level up your characters, or even get them. I started playing the game like three days ago and I have gotten 20+ characters! Everything is accessible, no money required. AND the art style is everything. I play and read a lot of fairytale retelling games/books, and this storyline has been the most interesting so far. And the designs for the characters are BEAUTIFUL! They weren’t afraid to stray from the original characters’ design, and I absolutely love it. Rapunzel is my favorite example of this. I just love this game. I would say the “critique” I have, which is more like a nit pick, is that there’s only voice acting for the first chapter. But I get why they didn’t do it for the whole thing. More important to me however is the fact that so far many characters appearances don’t match the ads! For example rapunzel wears a dark dress in the ads, and so far does not have that dress even as a skin. There should be more dark/goth themes in these designs if it’s going to be marketed that way. I don’t dislike cinderellas design, but she does not look like the promo images featured here. These should be available at least as skins eventually. I also noticed characters that aren’t actually in the game yet. I know they need time to ad more content, but if it’s in ads or event images for the game, it should be in the game on release or very soon. Please ad more goth/dark designs. It is a new game, so I’m hoping for more patches and updates in the near future!! Collect enough scrolls and just save them for some S+ units!! Most of the story characters need psychological help. Skipping the story now, wish they were funnier and less depressing. They are giving gems for 5 star review, so I’m not sure how accurate the ratings are. It happens multiple times a day and can get really annoying. Also the chat feature is really glitchy too. And I want to be able to delete chat’s because I accidentally messaged someone and I have to scroll past them to chat with my friends on it. Also im looking forward to new updates and new characters which I assume will be awhile. I do like all the characters so far. I also like that Red Hood the girl we start with is really good. She isn’t a character that you want to drop as you move on but one you want to keep because shes so good. I also like that its not super hard to get S+ characters. I already have 5 of them. While the game is somewhat like AFK arena, it manages to take on its own life that makes it feel like a different game. It not only twists the classic fairy tales but it also tells an interesting story. For the most part, the only thing I would really fix about the game is make it to where I can see the power level of different heroes whenever I’m selecting them in a fight. The story was fun, the characters interesting. However, it became increasingly difficult to find people actually PLAYING. As of this week, only three guilds in my server are actually active and half of them haven’t been on in a week. This is likely due to predatory micro transactions and the nerfing of characters. You hit a wall mid late game that frankly, all the free pulls in the world can’t get you past. You have to pay money or you just sit. I’ve finally given up. Between being bombarded by pages and pages of micro transactions and paywalled from certain features, to having absolutely zero people actively playing on my server leaving me feeling like I’m in a ghost town, this game is dead before it even really got on its own two legs. ### 1/5 — Unplayable *2023-07-19* This game is absolutely merciless about how uncommonly they’ll give you rewards, and about how minuscule they’ll be. It costs 2800 diamonds to summon a 10-pack of characters, and you get 10 diamonds when you level up, just to put it in perspective. You also don’t get any at all when you beat levels, and the new player rewards/ pre-registration rewards provided a collective total of around 500 diamonds. Are you serious? How scummy can you be? And I waited like a few weeks for it to come out. So I downloaded this game and while the graphics were cool, the storyline and the game were nothing like expected and were kind of boring. In addition the game is not very compatible with an iPad as it was smaller than my screen size. The bad dialogue could be excused if the fighting was good; but its non-existent. Maybe I just haven't seen the button, but by default you can’t fight battles it is automatically done. No fighting would be interesting if the story wasn't so awkward and poorly written. The way characters speak is extremely artificial and its clear they are only there to explain what’s happening in the current moment. Probably spent $15 on some niceties in the beginning myself, but the game seems to be designed for those who can drop $100s. Tons of $50-$100 “bargains” daily. I’d say the average level is 180 at this point, but there are already solid 240 teams (which doesn’t sound like a lot but the leveling system is on a incremental curve and the amount of resources you need can’t be “farmed” or gathered readily, only bought). Anyway, it’s not horrible in the least but it’s disappointing it’s designed for whales and the sort, they can bully you too, there are no sanctuary level breaks. If your on a server with one and your top 10 or so but you have that one whale can disrupt the entire server and you with it. If you can get around the unbalanced PvP, and the free-to-play slow grind due to lacking resources, you’ll enjoy the stories and the characters I’m sure. But be warned, you’ll not finish some stories for days as you wait for more daily freebies to build up your resource stocks to level up characters to continue. ### 2/5 — Fun for a week only. Pay2win game *2023-07-28* This game is fun for a week only if you’re free to play. Take it as a trial run. You can’t progress without having to “idle” for exp or other stuff you need to level up the characters. I’ve gone as far as I can in story and shadow thing. There’s nowhere else to farm for what I need. BUT they do have one million ways to sell you things for real money. 3 popups when you open the game. All the side panels are “events” aka time limited promotions to make you spend real money. It’s compelling because the character designs are so good. Immediately it becomes pay to play, that’s just how these games work. I had a pretty good team going, attempting higher content, straining a bit. The Cinderella “offer” pops up. She’s clearly a must have character, and I can buy her for only 50$ vs. the other 99$ offers I’d ignored. Deleted the game. If you want to pay and play, it’s nice. I don’t. The design is unique. But the story is confusing and not well written, the hero skills are completely underwhelming, there are too many things to do daily for too few rewards, and they seem to be lying directly in the game since they say you will get 1024 free summons and you get 90. I wanted an idle game that would take up maybe a half hour a day, not something that has so many daily tasks that it ends up feeling like a job. Here’s what makes me put down the game, and why I’m going to delete it, in spite of the fact that I like the art and the battles and the collection and the character growth aspect. 1) My phone heats up (iphone 13 mini) 2) It feels a little laggy or unresponsive. Like I have to tap on things sort of deliberately and sometimes it takes a second to respond. 3) Way too confusing on all the in app purchases and different currencies and events. It’s just way too much to sort through and figure out, and doesn’t add to the fun of the game. I know I’m missing out on rewards in part just because it’s so incredibly cluttered and confusing 4) Way too many iaps. Another thing going on with all these iaps is that even though I’d be willing to spend up to $20 I know that it wouldn’t matter. There’s constantly “top up” events and temporary packs and so much stuff that I know I would fall so far behind and eel like I missed out, so I might as well not play at all. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — hay *2024-03-10* although it is a pretty much pay to win game after months I was able to climb the ranks to make it to 8th place without spending a dime I say it’s a pay to win game but it’s really just the try hard players that want to make it worse for everyone by buying absolutely anything they can buy but whatever I just wish they made it easier to get the new characters and such ### 5/5 — This is amazing! *2024-02-21* And all of my years of playing games I never find a game that I could actually enjoy I’m 10 years old and enjoying this so much. I hope they make more games like this and I know I’m only at the introduction part of the game but I hope I get to see snow white soon. I’m just saying it’s so far because I never got this far into a game and didn’t get to the point where I got bored I can’t wait to see the ending! ### 5/5 — Best idle game *2023-11-01* Honestly after playing this game for a month now I can say this is my favorite idle game ever. Honestly has more in depth than most ever have. Usually most are just clones of a clone of a clone of another clone. This one feels much different than that best part that I have loved most is the story is amazing and the changes to the characters is incredible. Usually altering stories or characters from their original can go bad however y’all make it as if you made the characters and stories even better vs making a new whole thing that goes bad. Really love the good guys showing some narcissism because no one is perfect and the villains living up to the saying “not all villains are born some were heroes who got turned to that way”. One thing I know I’m hoping to see is maybe see beauty and the beast, wizard of oz, and Pinocchio cz those are some of my favorites growing up. Lastly I do love the few of the mythology characters added in a way that they seem more like fairy tale characters than mythology characters which is awesome too. ### 5/5 — I’m having fun *2023-10-20* I’ve been playing for 3 days now. The game is grindy as every ha ha game is but the development team seems generous in the resources they give you as you play. I saw a response they are fixing the voice issue. My one suggestion is making a landscape mode option because I would prefer to play horizontal on my iPad instead of vertical when charging my device. I hope for more characters and updates! My favorite class is the life federation. Interesting story too! ### 5/5 — I love this game *2023-10-10* This game is a game that I play like almost 24/7 although it gets a bit repetitive, I love the character designs, the adventure story and the mechanics, it’s a mechanic I wish I saw a lot more in rpg games but I do wish there were more Disney characters or just characters in general and more partners, I also wish that there are like a few weeks chance to be able to collect old character designs as partners because they look so pretty and some of them are better than the new ones but it’s also for people who didn’t get a chance to get those characters old designs or for people who got them to promote them if they haven’t and the game is a bit pay to win, I wish there were less things I had to pay real money for just to have and instead get it with game currency but otherwise this game is perfect and I love it. ### 5/5 — I love this game *2023-10-03* This game is very fun to play, I love the character designs, I love the dynamics and mechanics and I love the adventure storyline but I wish there were more Disney characters in the game and more ways to get camp recruit points instead of just the underground camps but regardless I really enjoy the game.
