When she works shes a dream, when she fails shes Georgy Soros’s worst nightmare. Its like a lot of things in Malaysia, when they work, they’re very very good, but by God, when they don’t, they’re an absolute horror show who’s bureaucratic antics and machinations are liable to the the sanest of men into a psychiatric ward somewhere North of Ipoh, somewhere north of the snail river, The Cape of the Hairy Fruit. Maybebank how I love to hate to love you. But it could be worse. After all, there are those of us from the analogue age who remember the endless queues and sxtended lunchbreaks to pay bills. So thank God for small mercies, its better than nothing I guess. And like anything Malaysian, this is a country that actually DOES learn from its mistakes and improves politely and gently. Additionally, the system requires a password every time I want to access features such as paying bills or reloading. Moreover, I cannot transfer money until I set up Secure2u, which necessitated a trip to the ATM. This is far from user-friendly! Please improve your backend security system to prevent identity theft and online fraud, rather than relying solely on excessive authentication screens as a frontline defense. Constantly resetting passwords and navigating through multiple authentication steps just to access basic features is frustrating. This approach not only diminishes user experience but also raises concerns about the overall security of the platform. This hiccup happens over and over again and caused many awkward inconveniences when making payment. ### 1/5 — Account show locked when trying to log in after MAE app update *2025-11-14, version 0.9.40* Tried to use the app, prompted to update and after the update, app shows message that account is logged due to ‘multiple log ins’. Same problem when then trying to login to online banking. Forced to reset password and because their app doesn’t work for the authentication, this then requires getting a pin by physically going to the bank ATM. Absolutely too burdensome to force customer reset passwords so frequently. App support link here on store does not actually work, just goes to a page saying their server cannot process.
