Overall sentiment: positive **Pros** - 👍 Easy to use - 🚀 Convenient for quick music writing - 💡 Ability to post sheet music for others to listen - 🎨 Versatile and entertaining **Cons** - 🐛 Bugs and glitches (app crashes, playback issues, export problems) - 🎚️ Limited rhythmic flexibility (no swing, limited tuplets) - 🎹 Subpar sound quality for some instruments - 💤 Lack of advanced features (dynamics, articulations, tempo changes) **Commonly reported bugs** - Beam note function not working - Playback cursor glitches when using short note setting - Unable to save or export compositions in some cases **Most requested features** - Add more percussion instruments (e.g., cymbals, snare, tambourine) - Implement swing rhythm and advanced tuplets - Allow multiple articulations on a single note - Add support for grace notes and pedal effects - Improve MIDI export and import functionality - Implement a Concert Hall feature to share compositions ## Newest reviews (20 of 369) ### 4/5 — Amazing but it’s missing essentials *2026-07-29, version 2.2.053* I love this app, and I use it all of the time to make songs and cover songs. though, there are some things that it needs to be better. first of all, there are a lack of instruments, especially when it comes to brass and synth. as a brass player myself, there are more brass instruments other than trumpet, trombone, french horn, and tuba. there is also the euphonium (my main instrument), the alto horn, flugelhorn, cimbasso, and others. about synth, i feel like there isn’t enough, despite the ones there. on another note, some instruments sound horrible and don’t fit into any song. take the didgeridoo for example. it sounds like an elephant burping as it’s vomiting… furthermore, WE NEED SWING RYTHEM. it’s so annoying because i cant make jazz music without making every single tied 8th note a quarter and an 8th in a triplet. please, add swing rhythm. also, please revert the change you made to where songs that are put into the “completed” section aren’t able to be edited until you unlock them. or at least, make another file where you can put songs that you actually want to work on, but don’t get lost in the sea of the MY_MUSIC###s that is the “working” section. it would make organizing so much easier. and don’t talk to me about changing the file name of a song, because you can only put one single song into a file and it’s so annoying. ### 4/5 — Fix Russian translation typos please! *2026-07-26, version 2.2.053* Great app, but Russian names of instruments have bugs: "СтрунЫНй ансамбль" -> typo, change to "Струнный ансамбль". "ИнверсированныЙ тарелка" -> change to "Инвертированная тарелка". Viola is named "Виолончель", and Cello is named "Челло". Please change to: Viola = "Альт", Cello = "Виолончель". Auch das exportieren auf PDF auf dem iPad funktioniert nicht. Auf dem iPhone kann ich die Noten auf PDF exportieren, allerdings müsste ich dafür die Noten auf dem iPad in die Cloud speichern, damit ich sie dann auf dem iPhone öffnen kann. Hierfür benötigt man Tickets. Diese habe in der App gekauft. Jedoch werden diese nicht aktiviert. Ich habe sie einmal auf dem iPad und dann nochmal auf dem iPhone gekauft. Beide Male wurden keine Tickets hinzugefügt. Meine Kontaktversuche wurden nicht beantwortet. Stundenlange Arbeit ist für mich nutzlos, wenn ich keine PDF erstellen kann.
