## What is Mafia Shadow Desk?

Mafia Shadow Desk is a stylish single-player card strategy game with a dark narrative and tactical depth.

You are a former agent of the secret organization “The Cartel”, a shadow power that once ruled the world through underground card duels. After its collapse, the balance of power was shattered. Now you return from the shadows to uncover a conspiracy, defeat former allies, and restore order.

Every opponent is a former Cartel agent - an intelligent character with a unique personality, playstyle, and past. Defeat them one by one to unlock new chapters of the story and reveal the truth behind the Cartel’s fall.

Deck
36 cards: 4 suits - Fire, Water, Shadow, Light
9 cards per suit values 1 to 9
4 Artifact cards: Mask, Key, Blade, Seal

Goal

Win the round by scoring more points than your opponent using card combinations and artifacts.

Card Combinations

Three cards of the same suit - 10 points
Sequence of three numbers - 8 points
Two identical cards and Artifact - 12 points
Four different suits - 6 points
Artifact and two cards of the same suit - 9 points

Gameplay Flow

You and the opponent receive 5 cards each
You may exchange up to 2 cards
Choose your best combination
The opponent makes its move
The higher score wins the round
Victory unlocks the next agent and a new story fragment
