For a smart trainer, it seems pretty dumb, despite the price but ensure that you are not connected to Zwift or any other app when actively searching for the machine on the app. The spindown is also available on Zwift, which was about 2 seconds longer, so there are similarities in the accuracy. Once you’ve done it the first time, I’d probably forget this app and just use the Zwift version of the spindown. ### 1/5 — Use the Wahoo app instead *2023-10-23* It’s not clear to me what use this app is. It connects to the Magene sensor and shows the instantaneous data, but there’s no indication it has any functionality as far as updating the firmware. I recommend you skip this app (and the dubious Chinese company), and just use something like the Wahoo app to record your speed/cadence for workouts. I finally figured out that didn’t mean paying 4.99 it means signing up for their newsletter. Once I did that I could control the light and put in custom settings.
