When I am listening on the radio and then go and use the app to try and identify a tune I want to download, I find everything which has already been played on that programme has been listed as Premium and cannot get the info I want without committing to a free trial. Musicians lose out on a sale and I miss out on songs or tunes I would have liked to listen to often at my leisure. ### 5/5 — great good music station ! *2023-07-26, version 9.21.4* ThAnk You Scala great Listening ! ### 4/5 — Resolving the ‘adverts’ issue *2023-07-10, version 9.21.4* I used the app ad free for about 6 months, then, very irritatingly, ads crept back in and no matter what I tried I couldn’t get Scala ad-free. Finally I got this advice from their customer help (Krish) and it worked: Please can you complete the following steps below and let me know if this works: Unlink your account to Alexa. (Make sure you Alexa is off) Once unlinked, please restart you App Open your App and sign inwith your Premium account. Re-link your account to Alexa via the App Please follow the steps to link your account. Once linked ask your Alexa for your station ### 5/5 — Problem *2023-07-01, version 9.21.4* I’ve tried to sign in repeatedly and despite great care your system says passwords don’t match. The ad has to be cancelled before the music is delivered and this makes it a very dangerous app when used in the car, including its use via CarPlay; you are compelled to cancel the ad by clicking a small x, which means stopping the vehicle. ### 1/5 — Giving up on Scala *2024-07-02, version 9.24* Unfortunately this is more trouble than it it worth. App is very buggy and keeps kicking me out. Also I don’t like the station so much now most presenters have been removed. I listen to classical music many hours of the day and night and especially in the evening when it’s relaxing music, an advert can really ruin the moment. It works out at £1 a week. I love classical music for my anxiety and mental health and really enjoy just pressing play and guaranteed no adverts. Really great app too. They say they are fixing it, but don’t know when they will resolve the issue. It’s been nearly two weeks. I’m missing it terribly, even though my main reason for listening ( Luci Holland’s show, the first of it’s kind on radio), has been recently cut, like other fan favourites Scala shows. I think i’m back off to Classic FM or a new adventure in Radio. ### 5/5 — I love Scala Radio, and Scala Radio Premium makes it even better *2024-01-20, version 9.23.1* I've been listening to Scala Radio since it launched, its the station that's in between Classic FM and Radio 3 I've wanted for years. Scala Radio Premium takes Scala Radio to another level.
