I have always wanted to like tea but no matter what I have tried I have never liked it. I’m 61 now and my 9 yr old grandson LOVES tea and even for him I couldn’t like it!! When I tried Magic Hour and Bohemian Breakfast tea I was truly FLOORED!! I LOVED the taste, the warm feeling of the Magic Hour is perfect for your night time routine. At first I was not a fan of the Bohemian Breakfast tea but my grandson told me to put in a little milk and OMG it tasted so much better for me!!! If you do go online the only support is from an “AI tea fairy”-if you call they don’t return the messages you leave. Order didn’t arrive. ### 1/5 — Zero Customer Support *2024-08-20, version 3.9* There is an option on the app called chat. It involves talking to a bot, not joking. There is a customer service link that takes you to a type of email. This is also answered by a bot that just apologizes to you for your issue and tells you that if you need help help, to request help from the same link that you already requested help from. I have approached them regarding three different issues and I have never had a single resolution. ### 1/5 — Awful customer service WARNING *2023-06-26, version 2.4* I don’t do this, but I have purchased approximately 12 to 15 tea jars from this company since discovering them, with their beautiful jars the teas come in. I have enthusiastically recommended this place to many of my friends, and also finding it a reliable go-to gift option. However, my recent order of 4 different tea jars, including the eagerly awaited new iced teas, was lost by USPS. Unfortunately, the response from Magic Hour has been disappointing, as they seem uninterested in resolving the issue. Despite this company having taken out insurance on the package, as confirmed by USPS (who have also been unhelpful), the company will not only making money from the payment for the 4 jars of tea I never received, but will likely receive insurance compensation as well. Unless you’re willing to endure the frustration of wasting nearly $200 and dealing with both this company and USPS’s abysmal customer service, I would advise against purchasing their tea. This company has alienated and ruined a loyal customer. Please be aware. ### 3/5 — Visually appealing, but lacks functionality *2023-11-20, version 3.2* I started off on Magic Hour’s website. The website has some things the app doesn’t - a working section for your favorites, easier to navigate tea groupings, and it shows both the full ingredients and wellness benefits of each tea you look at. But the website is slow, and if i use the “back” button or swipe to go back a page, it causes me to be unable to scroll maybe 90% of the time. I have to either reload the page or click on whatever is visible and clickable on the screen to get off the page and be able to scroll again. So I use the app because of that, but it isn’t without its faults either. The app’s favorites section does not work as of 11/20/23, they do not display wellness benefit lists on any of the teas on the app, and sometimes the full tea ingredients aren’t listed. It’s a shame because I have to use both the website and the app concurrently if I want to see my favorites and look at benefits and not deal with having to reload several times a minute. ### 4/5 — The App is Pretty but… *2022-07-17, version 1.1* I just downloaded the app and signed in with my account. The app is very pretty visually and is set up and present very well.I took off a star because when I attempted to add an item to my favorites missed it gave meA blank drop-down bar with the save button that was just spinning. I went under the my account section and attempted to create a Favorites just there and received an error that something went wrong. A visually appealing app is always great but the functionality needs to be the main focus. I’ll check back and see when the issue is resolved. I do wish the app had all of the information the website has so I didn’t have to go back-and-forth. But that is my only note. The quality is amazing! ## Most praised reviews (5 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — The Universe’s Gift to all of us! *2024-12-06, version 3.9* I am saying that I believe that the most important aspect of the relationship between the two main parties that were responsible for this unique union of love and labor to even happen in the first place is the universe itself which has many different forms that have a very important role for each of us but also the second one which is the most very important part is Zhena who made this all happen in the first place because without the beginning there would be no relationship between us as we are all together today, the same as Zhena and the countries she frequents to have a relationship with the people who are working hard to provide the main substance we are steeping in our tea, in our spring water, that’s the other very vital part that we cannot forget to be grateful for that I always think about is the people who are there in the fields who are out there in the hot sun all day picking little leaves, but although I am happy they have work I do want them to be safe at what they do, because I do care, no one should be treated unfairly no matter what country you live in, but I am very grateful for Zhena and her crew who are going and checking on these people to make sure they have what they need , I am glad there are things in place that protect these people and I feel better about drinking the tea knowing no one was harmed by this situation and that makes me feel good, now Imagine if we had millions of other people like Zhena who did things like she did? Oh how magical that the world would be? I think like this all the time, many nights of dreaming of a heaven, but it’s not a dream anymore because we can make dreams happen not just with tea but with kindness and compassion and care , the three main elements of humanity that are there for each other as we are all living together in our own ways of being together as we are all human beings that have a purpose to fulfill in this universe, thank you so very much for everything you do for all of us!
