Recently, though, it feels like the experience has changed. It now seems unnecessary to collect so much personal data just to be able to listen. Having to sign in has added an extra layer of hassle that wasn’t there before, and it takes away from the convenience that originally made the app so appealing. Without signing in, the app becomes almost unbelievably difficult to use. There are so many limitations, triggers, and interruptions that it no longer feels like the smooth, user-friendly experience it once was.
