This app doesn’t work, support never responds and I was ripped off! I should’ve gotten Below instead

It’s not mentioned that this effect doesn’t work properly unless using specific cards from the deck as to ensure proper tracking from the app. For the effect to work, lighting is a huge issue, to the extent that it’s recommended to use another phone to properly light the cards in play. It’s also withheld that the cards cannot be held in any manner since the effect will be ruined. So between the fact that this cannot be performed impromptu, requires specific lighting and handling, I consider this to be an incomplete project that warrants refund and revised presentation in descriptions. I reached out on several occasions to the creator and his response was his openness to having me help fix the situation and that his reviews support his app. No intentions on really helping nor making the situation right with a refund. FYI, it’s not the first app to use AR. Maybe do some research before making such bold claims just to deliver a lack luster product.Buyer beware.

As with any magical effect, certain conditions must be respected for it to work properly. However, we’d like to clarify that lighting is no longer an issue. The app now works reliably even in very low-light environments, so you can perform in virtually any setting without concern.

We also noticed multiple attempts to obtain the app for free before finally purchasing it. While we understand your disappointment, it’s important to remember that the effect relies on specific visual principles — for example, not covering the card, as shown in the photo you shared with us.

The app remains highly practical and suitable for real-world, impromptu performances, which is why it’s been adopted by many professionals and received strong praise from respected magicians such as Henry Harrius, Eric Chien, and David Penn.

Your refund request was processed and declined by Apple, over which we have no control.

We’ve responded to all your messages professionally and with full transparency. It’s unfortunate that your review appears more motivated by this refund situation than by an objective evaluation of the app itself.

That said, we always welcome constructive feedback to help improve Digital Flap.

I have installed on my iPhone 12 and it works beautifully. It is very clever and works straight on. The developer replies to your inquiries promptly. I highly recommend this app to add. I am a magician and I will include this in my routine.
