TV remote

Best TV remote control highly recommend it!

Best app

Unhappy

I find it offensive that you ask consumers to pay for an app to control the tv you manufacture

Lies, FALSE ADVERTISEMENT

I bought this app SPECIFICALLY because it says IR remote controller. That is simply a lie. They REQUIRE you to connect to your WiFi to find any tv they can connect to. I WANT AN IR CONNECTION NOT A WIFI CONNECTION!!!

Great Remote

Easy to use. You can use it from further away. Very handy when you’ve lost your standard remote.

FAQ

What does this app do?

This app transforms your phone or tablet into a smart universal remote control for WebOS and Netcast TVs. It allows you to navigate menus, search for content using a keyboard or touchpad, control volume and channels, and even use voice commands.

What are the key features of this remote control app?

Key features include an easy-to-use keyboard for fast searches, a large touchpad for intuitive navigation, support for both Netcast and WebOS TVs, automatic detection of smart TVs on the same Wi-Fi network, side button volume control, Siri voice commands, and the ability to launch channels and apps directly from the app.

How much does the app cost and what are the subscription options?

The app is free to download and use with basic features, but offers a subscription for unlimited access to all features and to remove ads. Payment is charged to your iTunes Account, and subscriptions automatically renew unless turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends.

What are the requirements to use this app?

To use this app, you will need a compatible TV (WebOS or Netcast), a Wi-Fi connection, and an iPhone or iPad. The app utilizes Wi-Fi for communication, which is noted as being stronger than infrared signals.

What are some common use cases for this app?

Common use cases include easily searching for shows and movies using your phone's keyboard, navigating smart TV interfaces with a touchpad, controlling your TV without a physical remote, and even surprising others by typing messages to display on the TV. It also offers a random channel picker for when you're undecided.
