The art is nice, the music is nice, the concept is nice. But it needs fixed. For example, you should be able to pass under docks, bounce off of some rocks (in not head-on collisions) and there should be a zen mode in which you cannot crash, ever. Also, the rock generating needs fixed, as it makes some impossible passes. And one last thing: STOP THE POP UP ADS. They kill you like, EVERY TIME. It’s so annoying. It’s fine for when you die, but not in the MIDDLE OF THE GAME. That’s it! ### 2/5 — Fun Game, But major Issues *2019-01-16, version 1.2* Ads ruined this game. This would be that one app i wouldnt mind paying .99 cents to get rid of ads but NOOOOOO we gonna make ads pop up while you play and die. Logs are mad annoying too. ### 4/5 — Amazing game *2018-12-20, version 1.2* I found this game about 2 weeks ago and so far cannot stop playing it, I am always trying to reach the next biome. It is extremely relaxing to play. The sounds and music are pretty much perfect. While reading some of the reviews for magic river I found a few people complaining about the controls being to hard to control and I disagree. I think the controls give the game more of a challenge which I like and is why I am so addicted to this game. Something that I think could be added to the game is a chance to have a second chance after you die, like you could watch an ad or pay 50 coins to have another chance. One negative thing about this game is ads will sometimes pop up while in the middle of a game but the game won’t pause it will continue playing and then your boat will most likely crash. Luckily there is an easy solution to this! All you have to do is turn on airplane mode or turn of your wifi, since the ads require internet access they will stop coming but the game doesn’t require wifi so it will run just fine, sometimes I find the game runs even smother without wifi. So overall great game with only one issue that is fixable 😀😀 ### 2/5 — Ads during gameplay!? *2018-11-08, version 1.2* Honestly, this game is genuinely entertaining, but pop-up ads happen while you’re playing which always kills you. If not for this I’d give it a 4/5. Pausing it and restarting is a temporary fix, but it’ll start lagging again in a few seconds, I don’t wanna have to keep pressing the pause button every three seconds. Also, the animations on the red bird character are still messed up, which makes it impossible to tell if it’ll hit a rock because of how the model is positioned compared to the hit box. ### 1/5 — The Parrot is Broken *2021-09-07, version 1.2* It’s too far down the line you’ll probably never update this game… But hopefully someone will notice this, the red parrot character that rafts on the gold bird cage is facing the wrong direction. I love birds and hope you’ll fix this because he’s my favorite character but I unplayable because it gets confusing where his hit box is… ### 1/5 — Made 10489 but the leaderboard is not updating it. *2020-06-27, version 1.2* The game is broken after 290. ### 1/5 — Fun app sometimes *2019-10-20, version 1.2* The problem is the amount of pop up ads. I can’t play a game without an ad appearing WHILE IM RACING, and it kills you. There are much better games that don’t have ads that pop up all the time, go for one of those instead.
