Level 2 battery doesn’t go into phone as it is suppose to. Games not saved.

I did not start out to well.  Need a hint.

When I went in a different order picking up, the items end up in boxes sometimes two and sometimes three.  So I could not use the item when I wanted to.  Example ladder and key or hammer and magnet.
