It's great way to teach letters. Not over run with ads, so it gave my baby enough time to really get the hang of it, then she loved it so much, I bought the full version. Well worth it! I'd add some puzzle activities or something interactive using the word, just to show variations but it's still a great app. ### 1/5 — Teacher & Mom of 3 *2014-03-22, version 1.2* Learning writing and reading -especially in English- relies on understanding of phonics and how they work together to form words. - Spelling "si" "ai" "ti" = cat is NOT helpful to relay this skill to beginning readers! App producers who have not understood this basic fact & requirement for successful teaching of reading and writing are not trustworthy. Besides that, "completed" is misspelled in settings. - And this app wants to teach spelling??
