Used to be easy to use. ### 2/5 — Backwards Steps *2026-03-21, version 1.53* Was great, simple, effective and worked offline - this was critical as the venue I used this at has no phone signal. Turned up this morning and it forced me to sign in which could not be done without phone signal or WiFi. Several others experienced the same thing with the venue having to promise double stamps etc in future which gets awkward. So, stamp missed and annoying UX lead to an average two stars. ### 2/5 — Got locked out and lost my stamps *2026-03-13, version 1.52* Embargo is much better. This app has no log out function and I got kicked out and lost my stamps ### 3/5 — Option to switch distance unit from miles to km? *2026-03-12, version 1.52* Since the app is available in countries that don’t use miles, it would make sense to include an option to change the distance unit. Having to manually convert the distance to kilometers isn’t great for the user experience when the app could easily handle it automatically. Similar to the language settings, there could be a setting to switch the distance unit. ### 1/5 — Watch out! New update deletes accumulated stamps and rewards *2026-02-13, version 1.48* As said above, deleted my stamps and rewards when added phone number to login to a new account. No warning that this was going to happen and does not give you the option to save what you already have. Nor able to use the app until you do add your details. Major oversight by the developers. This is on iPhone. ### 2/5 — New version wiped my stamps *2026-02-10, version 1.48* Previously a neat little app, until today when asked me to sign in whilst at the till. Eventually got in only to find it’s wiped all the stamps I had. ### 1/5 — Bad *2026-02-05, version 1.48* I’ve had this app almost 4 years and up until about a month ago never had issues. Now since a big update, it asked to log in and keeps logging me out. It also lost my three reward coffees that I had accumulated and had to start again. Today the coffee shop staff member told me lots of customers have been having the same issue and advised me to uninstall then reinstall the app but in doing so I lost all my stamps which renders it completely pointless 🤷🏻‍♀️ Annoying and frustrating!! ### 4/5 — Won’t Load - seems OK now. *2026-01-21, version 1.48* After a long time I have learnt a free meal via this app and so today I chose to use it BUT …. at the till the app won’t load some have to pay for my meal and can’t even get a loyalty stamp! What’s gone wrong? UPDATE: The developer reached out and it does now seem to load - I’ll now have to try again! Now after logging back in my reward is lost as is my previous history making the app useless. Please fix asap - I have already emailed your customer service but to no avail. The last time the data was restored only when switching to a new phone. When trying to log back in the app thinks I am a new customer. No data nor history is restored. Have tried to reach out to Magic Stamp’s customer service weeks ago but they have been unresponsive to date…. Do not trust this app. ### 1/5 — Deleted my rewards! *2026-03-02, version 1.52* I’ve been using this and I qualified for a free coffee and then all the app restarts and I have to log in again when I sign in none of my previous stuff is on there. They don’t have an option to log out and try a different account you can only delete accounts. So basically they don’t save your information on your log in. Rubbish app! Not sure why more businesses are not on it.
