## What is Magic Stove?

This app allows remote controlling of a pellet stove. It is possible displaying current stove state: room temperature, operating state, anomalies, operation set point and power settings, timer and operation mode.
Remote users can also program stove, modifying main parameters as operation set point and power, operation mode and timer. Only one remote user at once is allowed to program stove; during remote programming performed by an user, other remote users have readonly permission. Local users have higher controlling priority than remote users.
The app permits to read stove events as parameters modifications and anomalies.
To use this app, login to selected stove is mandatory. At first usage new stove has to be registered: stove registration has to be performed once and for all.

l’application ne fonctionne pas correctement! Donc impossible de le régler à distance! Faut vraiment faire quelque chose ! Il y a vraiment un problème avec cette application !!!

Je pense qu’une grosse grosse grosse mise à jour, devrait être faite sur cette application qui ne fonctionne qu’une seule fois sur 10…
J’ai acheté spécifiquement un poil wi-fi de près de 3000 €, et je ne peux pas m’en servir, car cette application ne fonctionne carrément jamais 😡😤
Pourquoi BESTOVE n’a pas créé sa propre application ? 🤔🤨

Die App läuft seit den Updates im Herbst 2022 endlich wieder stabiler. Leider werden nun immer wieder neue Versionen herausgebracht, die besonders seit Version 1.8 immer langsamer und wieder fehleranfälliger werden. Das initiale abrufen des aktuellen Status des Ofens dauert jetzt eine gefühlt  sehr zähe Minute. Teilweise dauert es dann 5 Minuten um ein einfaches Temperaturupdate zu senden. Manchmal kommt auch keine Meldung mehr, dass das Remote-Gerät erfolgreich aktualisiert wurde und man wartet vergeblich. Das update der Temperatur ist dann aber trotzdem auf dem Gerät. Daher noch 3 Sterne.

Schön wäre eine schnellere stabile und auch optisch deutlich modernisierte App.

UPDATE: Erst tat auch das 2. Update nicht, aber nach einer Mail, mit dem Anmeldebildschirm wurde sehr schnell von Seiten der Entwickler reagiert und etwas auf dem Server geändert und die App tut was Sie soll. Es ist zwar recht langsam was Sie tut, aber Sie tut es. Optik ist uns dabei vollkommen egal,Hauptsache Sie tut was Sie soll. Deswegen mal 4 Sterne und wenn Sie es wirklich schafft länger zuverlässig zu arbeiten auch gerne 5 Sterne.

Hallo, leider ist auch das 2. Update nicht besser als alles vorher. Weder auf einem iPhone 13 Pro, 11 Pro, oder iPad 12Pro funktioniert die App. Sie glänzt weiterhin damit immer wieder abzustürzen. Sorry und das schon seit Jahren. Die Zeit in der Sie funktioniert ist weitaus kürzer als die Zeit, in der Sie halbwegs funktioniert. Denn auch in der Zeit kam es vor das Sie mehrmals gestartet werden mußte um ein Ergebnis an den Ofen zu senden.

Buona sera ho installato l’ultima versione. Installata su IPhone IOS 14.8.1. Purtroppo ogni volta che si modificano le impostazioni della stufa e si attiva la funzione “aggiorna” l’applicazione si chiude. Non so il motivo. La stufa risulta connessa e si vede correttamente il suo stato. Ma modificando la sua impostazione l’applicazione si chiude. Grazie per aver dedicato tempo alla ricerca della soluzione. Luigi
