I have paid 4500 rupees for that in the hope that i will be able to connect to right tenants in my locality, but instead what i realised is that it is super hard to find the right match with this plan that gives limited connects to find the tenant. Primary reasons are 1. when you get an enquiry it feels like it is not actually the enquiry from tenant but magic bricks sending you that as often i have got on call with the match only to find they are not looking anymore as they have already found the apartment and end up wasting your credit 2. The matches you get are actually require the apartment very far from the location pf your apartment again end up wasting your credit 3. When you try to search for matches there is not enough information given to know where the candidates wants to get the apartment, what bhk is he looking for as well. Making it almost impossible to find the right match! I would highly recommend not to buy any subscription, it is a waste of money. I am giving 2 star only because i believe they can fix the problems if they really want to as these are product problems and not really that they dont have any tenants/owners using their platform. This platform, which projects itself as a trusted place for buying, selling, or renting property, is scamming innocent people with false promises and misleading offers. Their representatives call users and collect money over phone-based transactions, claiming they will provide verified leads, premium listings, or quick sales/rentals. However, once payment is made, nothing is delivered. This is not an isolated incident. Many users have publicly reported similar cases of financial fraud, cheating, and customer harassment. The company refuses refunds, provides no genuine support, and vanishes once they have collected the money. Such actions are a clear violation of consumer rights and amount to online financial fraud. Now you have to pay to see the listing - I would recommend staying away from such shady businesses ### 1/5 — I got scammed!! *2025-07-10* A few days ago, while searching for a rental apartment, I came across this fully furnished 1BHK in Brigade Gateway, Rajajinagar, Bangalore 14 k rent 28 k deposit , I came across a supposed “house owner” by the name Rajesh Kumar Jain of Brigade Gateway, Rajajinagar who, along with his so-called flat manager Tarun Singh, asked me to pay ₹2,000 before visiting the property. Trusting them, I made the payment. Shortly after, the “flat manager” called again demanding an additional ₹9,059, claiming it was a refundable amount they said I would get ₹9,000 back after the visit, with only ₹59 deducted as a fee. When I refused, they pressured me to borrow the money from someone else just to pay this so-called “refundable” amount. Fortunately, I realised it was a scam and did not send any more money. Sadly, I did lose the initial ₹2,000, but it could have been worse. And till now how many other people have fallen in the same trap, I don't know. Please note that below that particular post, there is no review option so I couldn’t write it below that particular post but it’s still there maybe to scam more people. It’s been a month + but I’ve not had any leads and just one call from the so called RM. I was actually looking for a property within goa and I came across one known property where the pricing was just 2.4 Crores and I knew that the original pricing is atleast 4 crores . But still I tried to contact the owner and find it out to confirm and here is how the scam is done by magicbricks . The moment u will keep trying to call the owner , there is no number visible and within few minutes a customer care executive ! Yes a genuine executive from magic brick will call and says that there is a discount offfer running , if you pay 799/- you will get 5 contacts unlocked and they will share the payment link on the official WhatsApp number of magic bricks which will make you think that this is not at all a scam . And after the payment I kept waiting for hours and still I didn’t get that one contact unlocked and guess what ! The service promised access to verified contact details of property owners (referred to as “prime owners”), and clearly stated that such details are only accessible after subscribing. However, once the subscription was activated, the contact details provided turned out to be fake or non-functional, making the entire service pointless. Even more disappointing is the complete lack of support—the sales agent who repeatedly contacted me before the subscription conveniently disappeared afterward and now doesn’t even respond to calls or messages. This feels like a blatant case of mis-selling, and I would strongly advise others to think twice before subscribing. Oh my god the constant WhatsApp messages and emails non stop but yet no use for me. We will get this checked and actioned with our concerned team right away. ### 1/5 — Worst app *2026-06-05* Worst app i have ever seen in my life they are fraudsters they don’t even check if the property is real or not every number which appears on the app which they say is the owners number are fraud people they will demand money to show you the flat or property and your id’s and will talk so nicely that you will fall under their fraud i got robbed with rs4000 they will convince you by saying they will adjust in the rent and their team is so big for cross checking i have have contacted 3 owners and all of them tell me the same thing that i have to pay 2000 to visit the property and when i reach there security guard told me its all fraud where we were finding 1 bhk or 2 bhk where i have contacted the number given me by magicbrick the security guard told me that the building which magicbrick told me for 1 bhk and 2 bhk the building only had 3 bhk flats security guard also told me that this fraud is happening from 2-3 years and still no action is taken till now and when you will tell the fraud owner to meet us they just blocked my number the app don’t even cross check the details that is the owners are real or not or the property actually exists or not I don’t want any one to trust this app or website as i do i would like to give them them the zero star **Developer response:** Dear User, we apologize for the same and would never want such an experience for our users. I paid for a MagicBricks membership expecting verified and genuine property contacts. Instead, I received multiple fake or completely useless leads. Out of the limited contacts they provide, a significant portion was either unreachable or clearly not legitimate. What exactly am I paying for? There is no proper verification, no quality control, and no accountability. It feels like the platform just pushes random data to justify charging users. Not only did I lose money, but I also wasted valuable time following up on fake leads. That’s extremely frustrating, especially when the service is marketed as “trusted” and “verified.” I would NOT recommend this platform to anyone considering a paid plan. Save your money and look for more reliable alternatives. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. Despite paying for their “best” package, I received only a couple of inquiries — and those were not even serious or relevant buyers. There was absolutely no noticeable improvement in visibility or quality of leads compared to free listings. I strongly advise others not to waste their hard-earned money on their paid packages or promotional offerings. Once the payment was made, the assigned representatives stopped responding completely. Calls were ignored or disconnected, messages went unanswered, and there was zero accountability. Even when the representatives were shown as online, they did not attend calls. I have screenshots and call logs as proof. Despite repeated follow-ups and false commitments, the promised service was never delivered. There was no guidance on managing or editing my property listing, and customer support only gave verbal assurances with no action. Even after opting for a paid plan, I continued receiving irrelevant and unqualified leads, which defeats the entire purpose of paying for this platform. This experience caused unnecessary mental stress and frustration. Such poor service is not expected from a brand associated with the Times of India Group. This goes to show the interest shown in searching properties from across the globe on this platform . Not only did I get genuine buyers but am happy to share that I could sell my property through Magicbricks . Not only I saved brokerage but also got a better price than local offline agents. The house inspection and the photographs were professionally done and a verified tag added to the credibility of my posting . Though I had advertised on other sites , the response I got on Magicbricks was phenomenal.
