This would allow you to be much more flexible in using your range of lights and modules ✅ with out it we are stuck with generic and restrictive looks. Which does not work. Need to be able to call a custom colour or look from IFTTT. Please add senes to IFTTT. 🚨 Thanks ### 3/5 — Update bug *2019-10-21, version 1.2.0* You can’t see the time page to update times changes!! ### 3/5 — Functions can’t dim? *2019-06-04, version 1.1.7* When I use the functions (like 7 color cross fade) I cant adjust the brightness. If I do it just goes to red and stays there. Very annoying. The music sync is not working nor the mic setting. Would appreciate some guidance and would up the rating to 4. The lights themselves are not as bright as the cree leds I replaced. Definitely more mood lighting even on the brightest “normal “ light settings. Cool idea , execution not quite seamless. ### 4/5 — Great light overall, color changed randomly *2018-04-18, version 1.0.9* Whenever I used to tell google assistant to change the light to white, it would be a warm white which I like. Now all of a sudden, it changes it to a colder blue-ish white if I ask google assistant. Would recommend! ### 5/5 — * BETTER THAN PHILLIPS BULS * *2020-02-11, version 1.2.1* I find this app and the lightbulb to be WAY more responsive and quicker overall when changing the color than the widely popular Phillips bulbs. if you are like me, and obsessed with finding the BEST product out there when you find something you like, look no further. I've done extensive testing of both. This app & bulb are better overall in responsiveness and reliability when changing the light/color. ### 5/5 — Amazing *2019-05-08, version 1.1.4* Great lights, great app. Wasn’t expecting to get as many features, pretty cool that you can get the lights to sync to the microphone. ### 5/5 — Perfect as of today 3-12-19 *2019-03-12, version 1.1.1* I’ve had MagicLight WiFi bulbs for over two years now and have rarely had any issues. The only time I have had some problems is after power outages but I’m able to straighten those problems out quickly. I originally bought these bulbs because Phillips hue lights were more then I could afford. Since I bought these bulbs I’ve always wanted a lock screen widget to control the lights. Eventually Alexa was compatible which I liked and use every day. Today the app update not only gives widget access to turn lights on/off but they can be controlled by Siri as well. I can’t praise this company enough there as good as it gets in my opinion. Like I said I’ve had two MagicLight WiFi bulbs for over two years now and there still going strong. Well worth the $35 a piece I paid for the WiFi color bulbs. Perfect in every way so far. You don't have to wait a few seconds for a loading screen anymore. There are also many wonderful ascetically pleasing design choices in this one. Whoever worked on this app deserves some recognition. I love that you can see the color you have each bulb or group set to from the main screen now. You can't control the lights in groups and with this app, all together at the same time. A great alternative to more expensive options!! ### 4/5 — Good functionality but can be made better! *2020-06-26, version 1.2.2* I appreciate many features of this app but there are a few limitations. The integration with IFTTT is seriously appreciated but can be improved by allowing the user to access and set their pre-saved custom dynamic modes from IFTTT and not just the functions that come with the app. Also I’d like to see a fade-on through a given time interval feature as I use these for waking up in the morning to ease into daylight during the winter months. There aren’t enough allowable schedule slots (6 is the max, adding more can also be an improvement) to discretize the “fade” so being able to prescribe a 0%-20% fade through say a 45 min interval would be ideal and likely easy to incorporate.
