I have to say I absolutely adore my Magimix! It’s the best and personally better than my thermie- I wish the Magimix app had more healthy options and way more recipes but for now I’m just converting my skinnymixer recipes and Cookidoo recipes. I like the format of the Magimix app and I want to acknowledge it’s free another bonus!! ### 4/5 — Easy to use *2023-05-21, version 2.3.6* I like the ease of use of this app. I’d like to see more Australian style recipes. There are many things I would never make. Tous les jours je fais 1, 2 voire 3 recettes et c’est génial. Je choisis mes fruits, légumes et autres produits, bio de préférence et souvent j’improvise et essais d’apporter ma touche personnelle aux recettes. Pour l’instant je n’ai loupé qu’une recette. Un seul défaut, les recettes sur l’application ne sont pas toujours très claires et parfois un ingrédient cité dans la recette à disparu dans les différentes étapes de cette dernière. Il serait intéressant d’avoir la date affichée dans les commentaires. Lorsque je choisis une recette et que je veux programmer les menus de la semaine, elle ne s’ajoute pas directement dans mes menus depuis le « + » qui apparaît en bas à droite de l’écran de la recette. Il faut aller dans « mon compte », sélectionner « mes menus » puis retrouver la recette pour l’ajouter… c’est un peu dommage… Par contre, les ingrédients s’ajoutent bien dans la liste de courses, et ça, c’est vraiment très pratique, de plus on peut la transférer ensuite dans une note pour pouvoir y ajouter les autres courses qu’on aurait à faire. **Developer response:** Bonjour, nous vous remercions d'avoir pris le temps d'écrire un commentaire. Sometimes the full functionality of the machines can be overwhelming, but this app guides you through use. I love that it’s one less ‘book’ cluttering up the kitchen too!! ### 5/5 — Super Simple to follow. Nice App, well executed. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — No setting to change C to F *2025-05-17* The lack of settings to change the units of measurement and temperature renders the app nearly unusable for Americans. Who makes recipe apps for an international customer base without such a standard feature. ### 1/5 — Useless *2025-04-06, version 2.7.22* I bought a glacier 1.1L. On the box, I saw this app is advertised. Not impressed. Instruction Booklet enclosed mentions recipe book enclosed but it isn’t but I wasn’t too bothered as the box advertise the app. To my dismay the only language available is in French! Not a good start and very disappointed. ### 1/5 — Not In English *2020-12-22, version 1.7.2* Quite clearly says it’s available in English language, but there is no option to change from French in the app. ### 2/5 — Lacking Improvements *2024-11-10, version 2.6.12* Please Introduce more features so it compares to Cookidoo Thermomix app. Publish own recipes right on app, why email Magimix to publish recipes. Search is hit and miss. Tags show more breakfast recipes compared to just few when using search bar - only one example of inconsistency. App is left behind by developers little to no improvements. Add scale up/down feature eg 2/4/6/8 people. Integrate shopping list with Apple reminders app. Also some recipes only show for food processor and not under cook expert? Why only 1000 recipes when competitor has 90k? App with potential but lacking improvements. ### 2/5 — Great concept but let down by errors in the recipes *2023-05-25, version 2.3.6* I love the idea and convenience of this app - but every recipe I’ve tried has had significant errors - wrong timings, ingredients missing from the process steps. It’s ok if you know how to cook the recipe and can adjust for all the errors, but hopeless if you’re not sure what you’re doing or what the steps should really be. The app takes you through each step so it’s hard to go wrong really. Such an array of recipes from dinners to drinks, smoothies, cakes and so much more. Gain de temps et ça évite de salir la face avant pendant la préparation. Il me manquerait en fin de chaque recette la possibilité de se connecter à la fonction « Rinçage » sans avoir à la rechercher manuellement !
