### 3/5 — Wont connect to the controller after extended period

*2024-07-13, version 2.8.4*

Wont connect to the controller unless standing next to it. If more than a few hours it wont connect at all

### 1/5 — Not Connecting

*2024-05-12, version 2.8.3*

What a useless system. Have to uninstall & re-install to use doesn’t connect. So if I forget and leave the house, the system has to run the entire time I’m away. Fix this otherwise useless app

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work since update

*2024-05-11, version 2.8.3*

Updated app and it signs you out.

When trying to sign back in, presenter with error saying “missing required parameter USERNAME”.

It’s not empty, it’s there, and if you try to register again it says “email in use”

How did you pass this?!?

### 2/5 — Good when it works.

*2024-05-05, version 2.8.3*

This is an unreliable app. Could be really good with some development. At the moment- ordinary.

### 1/5 — Not Connecting

*2024-05-05, version 2.8.3*

There is a major bug in the latest version.
On launching the app an attempt is made to ‘connect to system’ but it never connects.
The app needs to be closed & re- opened to connect.
Also the status bar at the bottom is no longer visible. This was helpful in seeing that a command was executed.
How did this pass UAT & get released in this state? A fix would be appreciated.

### 3/5 — Connection issues

*2024-05-03, version 2.8.3*

Since the most recent update the app won’t connect unless it is force closed and reopened.

### 1/5 — Don’t bother

*2024-05-01, version 2.8.3*

Don’t spend the money to install the wifi module.
It stayed in minimal viable product stage. Soon get will cut the cloud access.
STAY AWAY.

### 2/5 — Missing important functionality

*2024-04-27, version 2.8.3*

Just installed the app ok, but cannot switch from Program to Manual mode an vice versa?

This is important for i.e when at home the unit is in Program mode, but when away for a few days need to change to manual mode and i.e 16 degrees so the house does not cool out too much. When on my way back to the house require to switch from Manual (and 16 Degrees) to Program mode, to be warm upon arrival.

Please respond!

### 1/5 — App and controller not connecting

*2024-04-22, version 2.8.3*

After the latest update the controller or the App will no longer connect. I now have a system I can no longer use remotely. What a waist of money this system was. Very disappointed by Seeley!

### 1/5 — No good since update

*2024-03-08, version 2.8.2*

Was a good app until the last update. The command progress bar is gone and it takes multiple attempts for a command to work. It also loses connection to the controller. PLEASE FiIX!

### 3/5 — It is ok, but needs improvement

*2024-02-20, version 2.8.2*

It does the job but it’s clunky. It can’t handle multiple multiple instructions seamlessly. You can’t quickly browse through the zones, turn them on and off, adjust temperature, etc. It only works if you submit one change at a time. I don’t know if it’s the app or the inferior computer running the heater/ac.

### 2/5 — Update no good

*2024-02-20, version 2.8.2*

Ever since the update there is no bar at the bottom to show if the command has gone through. It takes a good 5 times to get a command to get through. The old app was much better.

### 1/5 — Multiple units

*2024-01-12, version 2.8.1*

The app can’t handle multiple units.
If you have multiple units, you require a Wi-Fi interface on each of the units and a different user email to sign into each of them, so in larger residences, where you could have two systems, e.g. upstairs and downstairs you can’t control both without logging out and logging into the other. Very annoying.

### 1/5 — Unable to connect

*2023-12-04, version 2.8.0*

Mostly unable to connect. Since installing, I think I’ve only been able to connect it on a handful of times. Please fix. That’s why I paid extra for the wifi module.

### 1/5 — App doesn’t login to the system

*2023-12-04, version 2.8.0*

After the latest update I can’t login to the system, I tried resetting password and also log again in to the wall controller. It says “cannot connect to the system, please check your wall controller “

### 1/5 — Needs to be updated for IOS 17

*2023-09-29, version 2.7.6*

Now when I try to connect it accepts credentials connects to my device. The device control screen flashes up, then it flicks back to the log on screen. Does this 4 to 5 times then states can’t connect.

### 1/5 — Constantly loses connection to System

*2026-01-27, version 2.8.4*

Constantly get stuck connecting to System. Loses connection and then when it is connected it only executes commands 20% of the time.PLEASE FiX

### 1/5 — Coded from the 2000s

*2026-01-13, version 2.8.4*

If you’re after an internet compatible heating/cooling system, do yourself a favour and buy anything else but this. The app is so buggy because the app controls don’t seem to be cloud queued, rather they interact directly with your unit via internet. This means you need to wait a few seconds after completing actions for it to sync to your unit, if you try changing temperature or fan speed too quickly, it glitches and reverts. The Ui feels like an app developed back when iPhone 3G was out, it’s slow and clunky. They’ve spent the bare minimum to develop this app or got something off the shelf. Can’t control any other settings or schedule your system to turn on/off, which you’d think would be a basic feature which any other app has. Google Home support no longer works, they blame Google but reality is Seeley can’t be bothered updating to modern requirements - no other smart home product has this issue or have “given up” on smart home development. Just shows this is a dead product spun as a marketing or sales tool to pretend they’re keeping up with the competition in the market… but they’re out of touch. Waste of $300!

### 1/5 — No updates for looong time

*2025-12-18, version 2.8.4*

Is a very handy app, but can’t set programs from the app. Can only set temp or fan speed. No timer setting function from inside the app

### 1/5 — Useless after upgrading to ios26

*2025-10-02, version 2.8.4*

App is completely useless and broken after upgrading to ios26. Just hangs on a grey screen. Extremely disappointing considering that my cooler is only 2 years old and still under warranty and a major advertised feature no longer works. I expect this issue to be fixed asap before the summer season.

### 1/5 — Couldn’t login

*2025-02-01, version 2.8.4*

Stuck at connecting to system

### 1/5 — Defiantly an afterthought..

*2025-01-09, version 2.8.4*

App is clunky, decides when it wants to work, is slow and is missing very basic functionality compared to competitors. The API is unstable and will not reconnect to the Air Con after it drops the wifi (and reconnects of course).
There is a lot of room for improvement.

### 1/5 — Not effective

*2024-09-10, version 2.8.4*

It always logs me out or says it’s unable to connect, try again. Then I try again and it still doesn’t work for days on end. Wish this was fixed!

### 1/5 — No support for multiple units

*2024-06-30, version 2.8.4*

This app doesn't support multiple units!
If you have a heater upstairs and a seperate heater downstairs, you have to sign out of one and then sign in to the other. Very anoying!!!!
I have been waiting years for the app to be updated to support multiple units

### 1/5 — Unable to link account with Amazon Alexa

*2024-05-30, version 2.8.4*

No longer able to link account with Amazon Alexa since the new version of Alexa app.
Alexa keeps saying to update app to enable skill.

### 1/5 — Really rubbish software

*2024-05-25, version 2.8.4*

This app and the actual fixed controller need to be reprogrammed. It’s a terrible user interface reminiscent of something from 20 years ago.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — User friendly app

*2024-02-09, version 2.8.2*

Great app to manage Aircon. Recent update was fantastic. Happy with customer service.

### 5/5 — Finally works like a charm

*2023-05-04, version 2.7.6*

After a few years of having this app, it finally works EVERY TIME. Just wanted to share our positive feedback. For the first couple of years the wifi would drop out regularly rendering the app useless but now it’s like a different system.

### 5/5 — Awesome App For My Breezair

*2019-08-27, version 1.2.4*

I'm going to Get A Maqitouch For My Breezair And I Want To Control It From It's My Own Breezair And No-one Should Mess Around With It

### 5/5 — Great app

*2019-01-23, version 1.2.4*

Great app, would love to see a timer and integration with google home.

### 5/5 — Happy customer

*2018-08-15, version 1.2.1*

Hi have been using the MagIQtouch for a few months now - it stays connected to my home wi-fi & now I never come home to a cold house! Love it and would recommend it.

### 4/5 — Not connecting - fixed in update.

*2024-06-03, version 2.8.4*

Have to remove app & reinstall to use after latest upgrade. Please fix.
Thank you. Now working well.

### 4/5 — Reasonable

*2024-02-03, version 2.8.2*

Reasonably functional but I would like to see the ability to manually drain and or flush the tank added to the commands list along with the return of the wifi command process bar so that when I change a setting while away, I can see the command being sent and accepted/failed etc. There used to be a command processing bar at the bottom of the app not that long ago but now I have no idea whether the system has received the command or not. Otherwise it’s not bad.

### 4/5 — Previous version was better

*2023-12-06, version 2.8.0*

Is good, but previous version was better. This one you can’t tell if the temperature change you made has been sent to the unit. In the previous version you could see the little blue progressive bar to indicate that the setting change had been sent. Not with this one

### 4/5 — Works fine for me!

*2021-08-31, version 2.7.0*

It’s a bit slow at times, but if you’re patient and just let the app process what you’ve done it runs fine!

Could definitely do with the program / schedule feature as to mimic the actual wall unit.

### 4/5 — Works ok could be improved

*2021-01-09, version 1.2.4*

Had installed this on my new evap and generally it works well.
I’d like to see added to the app would
Be ability to put the unit into pump only flush mode in case of fire to keep the pads wet.

Otherwise works pretty well, even got the google integration working after a bit of guessing as to the voice commands (don’t seem to be listed anywhere and what descriptions there are the commands are wrong)
