### 1/5 — DOESN'T WORK

*2022-06-24*

This app doesn't work and is not worth a second look!

### 1/5 — Does not work at all on iPhone SE 2020 iOS 15.5

*2022-06-22*

As others have reported this App does not measure anything as the magnetic field strength sits firmly on zero.

I even passed it over my magnetic gimbal clamp and some transformers.

Ironically even the “rate on the App Store”, in the Apps own settings screen is broken and does nothing!

Luckily for me this App appeared on my free App for the day App.

Note to Developer: Location Services and all necessary settings in the iOS settings App were fine with full permissions given to your App where available. The App just does not work on iPhones as others have reported.

### 1/5 — Not working

Doesn’t work on my iPhone

### 1/5 — Doesn’t Work on iPhone

*2021-12-01*

Works ok on iPad but not on iPhone 7+. Cannot find any help facility but figured the three readings at bottom are x, y and z values and figure below is their RSS. No idea what the pallete symbol does apart from requesting access to the camera. Landscape mode on the iPad sets the dial to below zero even though the reading is around 45 as for portrait mode. The display on the iPhone is completely frozen will all numbers at zero. In its present state it is certainly not worth the money and even if it were free it is pretty useless.

UPDATE 1st December 2021: Got feedback from developer asking if location services are on. They are but the app is not listed in location services, either on the iPad or the iPhone. It works fine on iPad. He did not address any of my other comments.

**Developer response:** Thanks for comment, is geolocation services enabled?

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2020-10-06*

I’m in a 1.5T field and it says 0!

**Developer response:** It's ios bug, I created ticket in radar.
Waiting feedback from Apple.

### 2/5 — Meh

*2022-06-25*

The only real use for this is to help understand how quickly the magnet strength drops off when the magnet is moved away from the detector. A simple but good quality mechanical navigation compass is more sensitive.

The direction indicator doesn’t work because it reacts dramatically to changes in magnetic pole orientation.

### 2/5 — Location required.

*2022-06-21*

Other apps don’t need it to work.

**Developer response:** System magnetometer not working without enabled locating services in iOS. But application not used location services.

### 5/5 — Works well on iPhone 14 Pro

Also indicates the direction of the magnet or magnetic force.

### 5/5 — 很有趣

体验不错

### 5/5 — Great for motion capture room layout

*2020-12-02*

Making sure my room is okay for motion capture in my IMU based suit. This app made it super easy to detect magnetic fields in the room!
