*2023-01-20, version 2.6.0*

This app can be a game changer. Things that required another person can be done with discrete help. This open so many doors that were closed before!!!

### 4/5 — Very cool idea. Wish I had this when I was younger.

*2022-07-30, version 2.2.6*

As someone who is neurodiverse (Autistic) this is a very cool idea. I am also a software developer and I think what could improve from the App is the UX/UI. Keep up the good work.

### 5/5 — Pediatric Professional

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Great when it was working.

*2024-07-15, version 3.0.7*

Currently it logged me out and won’t let me log back in or reset my password or make a new account and log in. Great when it was working for me. Not so great now.

### 1/5 — Ableist

*2022-09-11, version 2.5.0*

Not neurodiversity affirming at all.

### 1/5 — Disappointing

*2021-06-25, version 2.2.4*

I just downloaded this app so I could use the shopping list for Trader Joe. I began to set up the account following the instructions. I wanted to read the terms and rules before completing the account setup. That’s as far as I got. I pressed the read terms and nothing happened. So I deleted the app immediately. So I’ll stick to a paper list as this is a waste of time.

### 1/5 — Unable to develop new Cards

*2020-05-10, version 2.2.0*

I am unable to create new cards using this app.It is not working as provided in the website.

### 1/5 — Not very “modern”

*2019-02-15, version 2.0.4*

App seems very out-dated and basic. Not sure this is really helpful to anyone but perhaps a very young child with a disability. Certainly not helpful in teaching teens or adults with disabilities Independence.
The concept is great, but I was very disappointed in the quality and “Cards” available. Especially considering the time this app has been available (I saw a review from 5 years ago). I would give zero stars if possible.

### 1/5 — Doesnt work

*2016-04-04, version 1.2*

Cannot join because it keeps telling me that i need internet connection WHICH I DO!!!! Awful and useless

### 1/5 — Login?

*2014-09-28, version 1.0.3*

Requires a login. No explanation of how to actually get an account. iPhone account doesn't work. This bug made it impossible to actually do anything with the app.

### 1/5 — Not a good app

*2014-02-09, version 1.0.3*

I got this app, thinking it would be great. As soon as I opened it, it asked for a username and password. I entered everything I could think of, and it tells me it's not valid. LAME. Deleting.

### 2/5 — ABA focus unfortunate

*2021-06-25, version 2.2.4*

As an occupational therapist who works with autistic individuals, the emphasis on ABA-principles in these is very unfortunate. Focusing on the external behavior rather than the individual’s internal state is controlling and many autistic adults have called it abusive. For example, some people self-regulate to improve their attention with movement, not “sitting still and looking at the speaker with hands still.” Please do not continue perpetuating the suffering ABA has imposed upon autistics!

### 3/5 — Intro

*2023-06-02, version 2.6.2*

I was put off by having to create an account right away. I would have preferred to poke around the app first. And perhaps read something about setting up an account. I think this is a great idea and could see so many things that I could use help with.

### 5/5 — Helps with Navigating Transit Services

*2025-04-24, version 3.0.14*

This app is great for anyone who gets overwhelmed navigating public transit services. The step-by-step flashcards help tremendously in stressful spaces.

Amazing app! Love it!!!

### 5/5 — So helpful

*2024-01-31, version 3.0.4*

I really love how easy this app is to navigate. My daughter can easily use it. It’s so helpful to have visual social stories to navigate through so many situations. It’s nice to be able to walk through a visual step by step before going to a doctors appointment. Helps with knowing what to anticipate. The daily cards are great too. Very thankful for this app.

### 5/5 — Riding the bus and train

*2023-04-15, version 2.6.2*

My favorite part of magnus cards is learning how to ride the train and bus, and how to get blood drawn at the lab at the hospital.

### 5/5 — Amazing App!!!

*2021-06-17, version 2.2.4*

I worked in assistive technology for years. I taught about assistive technology and the most effective implementation strategies to use. Having seen and used more devices and apps than I can possibly list, I can tell you this is the best and most user friendly app I’ve ever come across. And, the fact that it’s free is incredible!!! If you have explored apps that work in social narratives, structure visual supports or communication, you know they are very expensive. I just can’t say enough about the magnus card app…. Well done magnusmode!!!

### 5/5 — Great idea!

*2021-03-31, version 2.4.0*

I love this app. I’m surprised there are not more tools like this to help make the world more accessible to people with cognitive disabilities. Major Kudos to the developers!

### 5/5 — Great Tool ❤️

*2021-03-31, version 2.4.0*

As someone who loves an adult with high-functioning autism, I am so appreciative of this app. It lets the user get a full picture of what a certain task will look and feel like once they’re in public, which has really helped remove some of my loved one’s anxiety around venturing out into the world. Thanks!
