Team is only needed when sharing a shop with staff. ### 1.4.3 — 2026-08-12 Fixes for selecting and deleting several products at once. • Fixed: selecting several products and deleting them could close the app. Deleting one at a time was never affected, and no data was lost when it happened. • Select All is now available the moment you enter selection mode, instead of only appearing after you'd already picked a product by hand. • The confirmation after a bulk delete now names the right number of products. • If a delete can't be completed, Magpie now tells you instead of failing quietly. ### 1.4.2 — 2026-08-12 Your inventory now syncs on every plan. iCloud sync is no longer part of a paid plan. Whatever plan you're on, your products, counts and history sync across your iPhone, iPad and Mac — and are safe if you replace your device or reinstall the app. Print your own labels Some of the things a shop counts most often are the ones that never scan — loose goods, produce, anything made in-house, anything whose label has worn off. Magpie can now print a label for them, so they scan like everything else. • Print a sheet, not a page each. Pick your products, choose a size, print. Labels are laid out in a grid, and Magpie tells you how many fit a sheet and how much paper the job needs before you start. • Sizes match labels you can buy. Each one names the equivalent stock — Avery 5160 / 5260 / 8160, 22806, 5163 / 8163, 5164 / 8164 — so you can check it against the box in your drawer. • Start part-way down a sheet. Already peeled a few labels off? Tell Magpie which position to begin at and it leaves the used ones blank. • QR codes or barcodes. QR works for every product, including ones with no barcode of their own. Choose Code 128 instead and your labels will read on a handheld laser scanner too. • Name and price on every label, whichever code you choose. • Label a whole shop at once. Select as many products as you like from the Products list and print them in a single job. A printed label works everywhere a barcode does — Scan & Adjust, counting, searching. Counting used to mean scanning an item, closing the camera, typing a number, saving, then opening the camera again for the next one. Now the camera stays open for the whole count. Scan a barcode, tap + or − to record what's on the shelf, and scan the next item. The card swaps as you go. Nothing to save. • Count the things that don't scan. Loose goods, produce, damaged labels — count them right in the list with the same big + and − buttons, or tap "None" for an empty shelf. • Finish without leaving the camera. When everything's counted, update your stock right there. • Pick up where you left off. One tap from Home puts you back in your open count. • Undo. Updating your stock after a count can now be taken back for 30 seconds. • Counts name themselves, so you can start one immediately. Scan & Adjust, front and centre The barcode button in the tab bar now opens the camera straight away. And when you scan something Magpie doesn't know yet, adding it takes you directly to adjusting its stock — no need to scan the same label twice. Plainer words Magpie now says what it means. "Variance" is "Difference". "Count session" is just "Count". "Expected" is "Should be". "Apply counts to inventory" is "Update my stock". In English, French and Spanish. Calmer screens Home and Reports have been cleared of anything that repeated itself, so each screen leads with what needs doing. Reports opens with what needs attention instead of a wall of numbers, and every card there now takes you to the screen where you fix it. The scanner wears Magpie's colours, the launch screen is quicker, and text scales properly if you use Larger Text.
