Only problem is the color on the app is all F’ed up. Extremely dull and makes it had to see into shadows through a spotter. Tried adjusting the brightness but that didn’t help. Wish they would fix this. ### 2/5 — Fix these! *2025-09-30, version 1.0.13* If you are recording a video and leave the app, it deletes/doesn’t save the video. Make it so it ends and saves the video when you leave so you don’t lose your video. The app stores all the images and videos in the app and will take up a lot of storage even if you try and delete them. ### 1/5 — Won’t work for iPhone 15 *2024-10-18, version 1.0.11* Had a big bull I was watching today and tried my new magview. Wouldn’t work or capture ANY videos or pics. Wish I’d have known I’d have brought my other adapter. Looks like it’s been an issue for almost a year. You’d think they’d get it fixed. Definitely returning my magview. $170 for some broken junk? But i upgraded my phone to iphone 15 and the app won’t even open. It acts like it will then crashes immediately. For a product that is directly linked to an app and considering most consumers are iphone users it’s absolutely unacceptable that MagView hasn’t updated their software to work with iphone 15. It’s been out for months now and should not be that complicated of a fix. I will no longer recommend this product to anyone. ### 1/5 — App not working on New IPhone 15 *2023-12-09, version 1.0.8* I bought the MagView for my spotter last year and the spotter mount and app worked great. Upgraded to a new iPhone 15 in October and the app will not work. From I've read, MagView Gear has said several times since September that the app will be working on the new iPhone in a couple weeks. Well here we are 3 months later and almost through an entire hunting season and the app is still not working. Every app on my phone worked just fine after the upgrade, so not sure what issues they're working through. You'd like to think it would be a huge priority for them to get this resolved, especially during hunting season. Not sure how they will manage to stay in business. Long story short, great product when it worked but just lost an entire hunting season of use. A lot of money wasted..... ### 1/5 — Still No Update *2023-11-30, version 1.0.8* It’s pretty frustrating that they have not updated this app nor put out a memo on it. I have both Bino and Scope mounts and though I have finagled a way to get the focus to work with turning macro off it still is not perfect, especially making the bino version almos impossible to use. ### 1/5 — iPhone 15 *2023-11-22, version 1.0.8* Bought the iPhone 15 pro and now the app won’t work at all. I talked to their guys at a trade show and they told me the negative reviews were before their company bought Magview and they have the app devs working to make it better. I have not had any issues using it almost everyday. It is so much help aligning your phone to your spotter and it makes it super simple. I have been using it for general birding activities and also at the range so help record and measure my shots from the bench. The new company managing this app is doing much better and I have not had any of the bugs previous users have. I have the iPhone 16 pro. ### 5/5 — Works Great *2025-04-16, version 1.0.13* I have taken some awesome videos and pictures while using the app with my Magview adapter.
