Mostly the ads appear and after add still news now show properly because of wrong layout. Thanks! ### 2/5 — Very buggy app *2022-11-04* The app takes hours to load the news or the article. Percentage of advertisements is much higher. Some advertisements can’t be closed unless watched. Improve the app or just take it back. Secondly, in remarks very abusing language is used to write the reviews. Why MT can’t control it? Now next idea to deter readers from reading is to flash an advertisement which have no ‘shut off’ button. Seems that MaTa wants us to uninstall the app and look for something else. Advertisements have taken over from content and less important news have been given more Important than actual news. e.g People who read Marathi news paper are definitely very much less interested in relationship and electronics news (where iphone prices dropped news appears many times, which is justified by saying you can use credit card) than actual news which we see in print version. News are not loading many times even on wifi. We have long left the expectations of proof reading but day by day it is getting worse. We expect the great MaTa to be back with full of its richness and just does not follow the cheap local media apps which just do not have quality. ### 1/5 — Deteriorating quality *2022-10-29* After the update, it seems like the ads have taken primary positions replacing the news. Anyway in past few days the content has also deteriorated. The language has worsened. There is no proof reading, content is blindly (or possibly mechanically) translated from English/Hindi without even checking the basic meaning. Doesn’t really feel like we are reading the great ‘MaTa’. It’s like any other cheap media which keeps running behind fake news / sensationalism. I have been reading this newspaper since I was a child and still wished to continue but the management is doing everything possible to reduce to readership of this newspaper application. Is there any premium version of this app available? ### 2/5 — Crashing freezing and buggy app *2021-11-10* The app is bug infested. Crashes very frequently. Freezes without any reason. Huge blank space after the news text is over or sometimes only portion of the news text is shown and after that endless blank space. On many pages there is no back button, so you have to kill the app and relaunch the app to read other sections. App is just crashing every time I open it to read news. Many people use abusive language against any government people including PM, CM and the governor. Also, noticed that many mistakes in published news. Sometimes it feels that this is biased news media and only published news to mislead people and start a quarrel between them. When i try to play that video it changes and very unrelated video is getting played. This is weird i can see. But it should not be irritating ### 1/5 — The latest version keeps pushing ads *2022-12-22* The latest version from Oct/2020 is really bad. Even if you select largest font size, it is unreadable . When you click on news it bring some ad which you cannot close. There is no end time for the ads to complete. So you have to restart the Mata app. I have removed mata from my phone. Very frustrating.
