Therefore we have to swipe left which takes to main window of app and asks to login again. Then when we click Internet Banking and try to login, message comes that you're already logged in. Please fix pop-up visibility. Example of pop up window: 1) link to check transaction charges in fund transfer page, 2) IFSC verification link on beneficiary add page. ### 1/5 — Why this app exists on App store and even how Apple has approved this one? *2022-07-16* most pathetic app I ever use. there web app also bad all the other banks use simple user flow to login but BOM they are like too way behind to change this process. Seriously BOM you have to think about basic login functionality as normal user over web and mobile apps. just to check bank statements which is just few minutes job on your any app it takes ages ( if able to login ). I really feel bad as BOM customer, that in mid 2022 we still have to struggle just login into our own bank account. probably before this FY end I will close my account. ### 3/5 — Password change difficult *2022-03-01* The process for changing password needs to be easier. It’s very difficult to enter 6 passwords at the same time without making a mistake. We would be happy to help you. ### 1/5 — Asking for security question on same registered device *2021-05-24* Useless app. I am using the app on my iPad since 1.5 year still now asking for security question now. Also it doesn’t ask for location access permission while installation. No option to enable the same from settings. It’s the same UI design that they use for the desktop. So you will have to zoom into each page to read and click menu options and then zoom out to find the pop up box and zoom in again to click ok or cancel. It’s been over 5 years and they have still not bothered to update the UI. Executives of the bank, please spend some of the bank’s profits on building a proper app and enabling the bank to compete with other providers of banking services. Right now, it a torture to have to come to the app and carry on any transactions. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE be more considerate of your long suffering customers and help us have a decent experience banking with Bank of Maharashtra. I am tired of dealing with you … ### 1/5 — Unusable *2025-03-10* It is “MahaSecure”! So secure that even its own customers cannot login! Ridiculous security mechanisms that makes this application completely unusable. ### 1/5 — Worst mobile banking app ever *2025-01-09* I have been using 4 banking apps on my mobile. And this is the worst ever mobile banking app that I have been using. Trust me there are bad apps like SBI YONO app, Axis bank but this will easily win the OSCER award for worst ever mobile banking app It opens the full desktop size web page inside the app. Are you kidding me? I have to zoom in and out to select options here. 🫡 ### 1/5 — Worst application *2024-09-15* Not at all user friendly, scroll bars not working properly. Screen navigation is pathetic, looks like it is developed by someone who doesn’t even know basics of usability. Bank of Maharashtra seems low on funds to pay for testers of this app, without any testing it’s released. Very shame on BOM. Mr CEO change your IT team, get someone who understands basic UX without compromising security. ### 1/5 — Terrible app, atrocious service and miserable experience for users *2024-08-05* Bank of Maharashtra, please get your act together. I echo everything user dave.jones says, laced with extra amounts of frustration. Are you even reading and/or listening to any of the feedback you are getting? Just slapping an “app” layer on your poorly designed and developed website does not make it a mobile app that works well. Please call me if you want to have a constructive conversation. Meanwhile, please read my requests for help sent to your email address. I am still waiting. By your lack of empathy and response, you seem to be forcing loyal customers to look for other banks to take their business to. Is this your goal? ### 1/5 — Overly complicated, flaky and unreliable *2024-05-09* Bank of Maharashtra has added unnecessary layers of complexity in the name of security. A user is required to possess a password, pin, secret question & answer, an OTP to activate the device, solve a CAPTCHA and a separate OTP to login. This excludes the transaction password and OTP for executing the transactions. On top of this they establish a “secure connection” (VPN) on the device to connect with their services. These many layers of “security” are unnecessary and only create hurdles for users. I don’t think there designers of this app have any control over these policies but my complaint isn’t about just the policies but the app itself makes life miserable when it fails often in one or the other step. For instances OTP delivery to overseas phone numbers is extremely flaky. There are days or weeks when it doesn’t work and there is no support from the bank or developers. If you’re an NRI who isn’t in India how are you supposed to operate your account? Bank of Maharashtra has touted to be spending 1000s of crore rupees on its technology infrastructure. I don’t understand where that money is being spent? I don’t see the retail banking experience getting any better. ### 1/5 — Pathetic! *2024-02-04* The app just doesn't let you get through. Keeps crashing or showing server issues. Have attempted an EMI payment 5 times now and each time there is a new error. This bank has either hired a very low quality development team or hasn't paid them. Terrible netbanking experience! ### 1/5 — Worst app *2023-12-09, version 21.03.14* Honestly the worst banking app as fails to recognise device, not at all user friendly. Will change my banking with other bank. Very disappointed. ### 1/5 — Pathetic app *2023-11-04* I have not seems more pathetic app then this. It uses a web view and you have to keep zooming in and out to click any button or navigate anywhere. If accidentally you swipe from side it goes back to pre-login page and now you can use your app (cant login) for sometime because your last session was terminated incorrectly. ### 1/5 — Barely functional, user hostile and ridden with bugs *2023-07-26* Bank has disabled the access to the site from regular and now they are forcing user to access the same site through this barely functioning app. Things like exporting statement was possible through browsers, but all export features are non functional here. Its internet banking page is not opening. And it worked very well. Flawless and smooth. I could check account balances and also did a money transfer. Worked without a hitch. Unable to rotate/adjust content inside the app 2. Not compatible with Safari Browser 3.
