## What is Mahj?

Mahj-ic is the elegant companion app for physical American Mah Jongg (NMJL rules) - the quiet co-pilot that sits beside your table and keeps the game moving.

Mahj-ic doesn't play Mah Jongg for you. It doesn't deal tiles, simulate an opponent, or judge your hand. It just answers the three questions every table asks, one tap at a time.

WHERE ARE WE?
Follow the Charleston pass by pass - First Charleston, optional Second Charleston, and the Courtesy Pass - without losing your place. Every step is a single reversible tap: pink for pending, green for done.

WHOSE TURN IS IT?
Designate East and Mahj-ic tracks counterclockwise turn order automatically. Tap any seat at any time to correct course - no warnings, no friction.

HOW AM I DOING?
Declare Mahjong the instant you win. Every win counts toward your personal total, and you can optionally assign it to a generic numbered line on the current year's card (official hand patterns are copyrighted, so lines are tracked as Line 1, Line 2, etc. - bring your own NMJL card to the table). Watch each section - and your whole card - fill in over the season, and unlock the Mahjong Master celebration when every line is complete.
