## What is Mahjong & Mahjong?

New to Japanese riichi mahjong? Start with short lessons on tiles, winning hands and the flow of a turn. Then try four-choice questions to check what you have understood.

Practice the decisions behind a hand:
• Recognize yaku and work through scoring questions.
• Identify waits and shanten, and consider which tile to discard.
• Read explanations after answering.
• Return to wrong answers and bookmarked questions when you want to review.
• Follow your learning progress and daily streak.

This is a learning and practice app for Japanese riichi rules. It does not promise wins at the table.

Learning features are free with ads. An optional one-time purchase removes ads; it is not a subscription. The app is available in English and Japanese.
