Used the app on or off for a number of years. Overall service is mediocre at best. Have to be very specific as often the cleaners will convenient omit dusty shelves if it means having to move small things. After spending more than half of the time they haven’t even started on the bedrooms. End up i had to pay 2 extra hours and still they didn’t finish all the rooms. This is on an easy to clean condo where all furniture was already moved out and sqft at the lower end of the range paid for. Where they actually cleaned they did a good job, but time management was so poor i won’t use this app ever again. How to book when the app is not responsive at all? ### 1/5 — Poor customer service *2022-09-16, version 4.7.2* Misscommunication between crew, office and admin that resulted in customer booking. Customer had made the booking 1 week prior to the cleaning day. Received a poor customer service on the cleaning day itself (cleaning crew did not arrive, system error & wrong cleaning package presented to customer). If maideasy were to inform on the error earlier, customer would have more time to find a different cleaning service. ### 1/5 — Worst apps ever *2022-08-30, version 4.7.2* The cleaner should come at 2pm but cancel at 130pm. I already read the review about the always cancel last minute but decided to give it a chance but turn out yes they always cancel last minute, not worth your time guys. I generally clean myself so only book when I want a bit of extra help. This time, however, I’d booked a cleaner to help me prepare for my parents’ visit in a few days’ time. I’m very busy with other commitments in the next few days so booked the last time I would be at home before my parents’ arrival. I was waiting for the cleaner to arrive and messaged him 15 minutes after his confirmed arrival time (9am) but never received a response. 30 minutes after his start time, I received a call from Maideasy saying that the cleaner had had to cancel due to an emergency this morning. They offered to reschedule to 2pm but I am out 2:30-7pm today, as well as all day tomorrow and Friday. This has resulted in me having to cancel the booking (hoping I will get my refund!) and clean myself, something I hadn’t planned to do. I will not be booking with Maideasy again in future as they have proven to be unreliable on this occasion. ### 2/5 — Bad, just bad *2021-04-16, version 4.7.2* Took forever to secure a booking, either it’s fully booked or cannot find a staff. There were a few occasions where the payment made via their own wallet (maideasy coins) failed. How can all these issues justify the premium that I am paying as compared to other third party maid service providers? ### 1/5 — Worst experience. *2020-08-01, version 4.6.3* First time using the apps. For 2 days the platform are unable to secure any crew until the time of the service, i have to call the helpline and they told me that they are not able to get any crew, and immediately cancel my booking. The service simply isn’t customer friendly…like tying a bow around a traditional business with an app (without the solutions one expects a tech company to try and solve). With the coins conversion then it forces the customer to jump through another hoop to request a refund back into your account. Painful admin process and just a poor experience ### 1/5 — Unreliable and Not So Easy *2023-03-17, version 4.8.7* The past 2 weeks been a very rocky journey with Maideasy. There’s absolutely nothing ‘easy’ about it. Numerous cancellations, intermittently slow response. And sometimes queries remain unanswered to this day. They’re not a very reliable service and instead of making things easy, it has made things a lot more difficult. You’d think that because I have been using the service everyday for two weeks, a bit more customer service and support would be available, on the contrary they take the regular business for granted with cancellations happening in the last minute. Being a regular user I had requested the same personnel regularly so as to not waste time briefing new people each time. But that’s not possible. If your looking for a one off, then by all means go ahead. But if your looking for efficiency and consistency for long term use, look elsewhere. This method of operation is not going to be sustainable in the long term if the services remains unreliable and unpredictable. ### 1/5 — App full of bugs; Service bad *2023-02-01, version 4.8.3* App Review Looks nice but errors keep popping up. Couldn't upload photos in one of the forms, which I assume is meant to give the cleaners an idea what type of job they were accepting. Service Review Disappointed because my booking was cancelled twice. The second time I was canceled on, the cleaner claimed to have called me multiple times, and since I did not answer he canceled the job he had accepted. Was ready to apologise but found that there were no calls made to me. Tried contacting Maideasy but the number on my e-receipt was incorrect - am hoping it wasn't to discourage customers from calling. When I finally found the correct number, there was no answer. Maideasy has a caveat that says customers cannot make bookings in under 2 hours. This seems reasonable to me. But it seems a little disingenuous that customers are not accorded the same courtesy when cleaners who have accepted the job can cancel at any time with no warning or replacement. I think Maideasy should relook their service agreements with the cleaners - if Maideasy doesn't act accountable on their behalf, the cleaners should be made accountable for the jobs they accept/cancel. ### 1/5 — Terrible company and terrible service *2023-01-27, version 4.8.3* I do not receive my booking after payment made and no one is available to reach out on maid easy side , try calling the hotline , no response .
