As seen from website, many of the functions can be accessed via app. But the app is not functioning as its directs me to App update option upon installation.
Once i click update now then it takes me back again to open option in App Store.
Upon clicking open option from AppStore, it takes me back again to “update now”
Option and the cycle keeps repeating

This company is shocking. They don’t have a clue what they are doing. Really difficult to get in contact with and speak with a human. We have had issues from day 1. Sending incorrect payment links, asking for more money, not sorting out issues, sending incorrect payment dates. I am now currently dealing with another issue of them asking for money. You pay a monthly fee for them to pay your nanny but they only actually pay a tiny amount and you have to sort the rest. Honestly - just sort the visa yourself. It would be less hassle than dealing with this company.

I used maids.cc’s travel assistance service to bring back a maid I had previously hired from the Philippines. Unfortunately, the entire process has been extremely frustrating.

I applied for her entry permit two months in advance, but maids.cc contacted me later asking to cancel it and reapply, saying they wouldn’t be able to bring her on time. Communication was almost impossible — customer service could only be reached via WhatsApp, often with robotic or unhelpful responses.

After two months of waiting and constant follow-ups, they finally offered a 7-day trial replacement maid. On the day she was supposed to arrive, she simply didn’t show up, saying she refused to work.

This experience has been a huge waste of time and energy, and I still have no proper solution from them. I truly regret using their travel assistance service and would not recommend it based on what I went through.

### 1/5 — A Painful Realization After 9 Months – A Deep Disappointment

I chose this company hoping to gain peace of mind and avoid the stress of suddenly losing a nanny for my daughter, as well as to ensure easier replacement if needed. Over the course of 9 months, I paid a very high salary for a nanny who behaved with entitlement—insisting on going out every night. After we allowed her some flexibility, she began taking advantage of the situation and eventually returned home drunk.

We tolerated this behavior for the sake of my daughter’s emotional attachment. In the end, however, during our travels abroad, we discovered—too late—that her visa had not yet been activated, which prevented her from joining us. Shortly after, we received a call from the agency informing us she was unwell and wanted to return to the company housing.

From the beginning, I had made it very clear that if the nanny were to leave, the separation must be gradual to avoid any shock to our child. The company agreed and confirmed they understood how important this was. This was the main reason I justified paying such a high monthly fee.

Despite this, the nanny left suddenly and never returned, and her contract was terminated by the company. My daughter was deeply affected. Although we were eventually convinced to try a replacement, her emotional state had already deteriorated, and we had to return the new nanny within just one week because our daughter could not adjust.

In the end, I realized that paying AED 4,200 a month through the agency made no meaningful difference—on the contrary, had this amount been paid directly to a live-in worker under our own sponsorship, we could have hired someone far more professional, stable, and committed.

What made it even more disappointing is that, despite all of this, we already had a housekeeper—hired for AED 1,400/month—whose role was only to clean the house. Yet during our absence, she silently took on the responsibilities of the nanny: managing the home, caring for our daughter, and covering for the nanny who repeatedly went out without permission.

Don’t use them. Worst experience ever. Only 20% of the money we paid goes to the Maids. Imagine the quality you can have. Selected the monthly plan. Nanny came on Sunday (her day off) and have to started to pay from the time you select the nanny which is fine. After 2 days of working 11pm, the nanny said she had a lung pain. She had to go to clinic. And left the 2nd day at 7pm. I paid the full month. Now 2 days after they can’t even find one replacement who knows how to babysit. They only have cleaners who don’t know how to cook and how to even prepare formula for babies.

This company is completely incompetent when it comes to running a service. We initially hired a maid who, within the first week, fell sick for three days — which is understandable — but for a service company, I expected them to send a replacement. Despite repeated complaints, no one was provided. When they finally sent a substitute, she informed us she had no intention of continuing, and shockingly, Maids.cc had no idea and hadn’t even planned a replacement. Their app and website also show outdated and inaccurate information about available staff in the area. Now, when I’m requesting a refund, they keep dodging the issue. Truly the most mismanaged service I’ve ever dealt with. Avoid them if you have any other choice!

I had a very frustrating experience with this service. It’s nearly impossible to speak to a real person right away, as you’re constantly redirected to a bot. When I finally got through to a customer agent, they were not familiar with the process and couldn’t provide clear answers.

I availed of travel assistance for my nanny in the Philippines, and the processing took over three months—far longer than expected. There was little to no proactive communication, and I had to follow up multiple times just to get updates. Overall, the poor service and lack of efficiency made the entire experience stressful and disappointing. I do not recommend it.
