This tool is free to use for anyone with a computer and the computer version is far superior to this. This was a poor implementation of an otherwise superb tool! The iOS version only supports the lookup of one username, is extremely slow, and requires payment to search for more than one username. Low quality app from a scummy developer. Examples: request falied Google Acount Not found: Also none of links are correct and some accounts show up as not found when I know for a fact they exist. I d*I don’t like leaving low star ratings. This developer took that free code and implemented it in this app in an attempt to make some quick cash. This developer is also spamming people through GitHub to advertise this app. Please don’t use this and do not support this developer. **Developer response:** thanks for using maigret fo iOS, and thanks for your super 1 star too :) as you konow, the project you mention on github is a very good project with powerful username search capabilities, however, I found it has some disadvantages that make it difficult to use. - You need to build your own python environment and have certain programming skills. - You need to maintain your own server or use a query service provided by a third party which is not safe & unstable. - You will not be able to search without your computer. In order to solve these problems, I build this iOS app that search username on the client side, and released it to the App Store for everyone to use. - Powerful search function: support search from 3000+ sites and full report with intergrated information. - Always on duty: the application runs on the phone, only using the phone's computing resources, without relying on any third-party services. - innovative features: name generator, generating possible usernames by real names, and quickly finding possible emails and avatars. - Stricter privacy policy: your search data is on your phone, not uploaded to third party servers. The code you are talking about is python, which has nothing to do with this project. and app promotion is something that every developer does, so sorry if I'm bothering you. I will continue to optimize the app, to provide a better search experience for users. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — NeverAgain *2026-06-05* I signed up for a trial, then decided to upgrade to the Pro version. The Pro Version seemed to have more information that I would have liked to viewed. However, I paid for the pro version but only received the same version as the trial. I tried to find a developer website or some way to contact the developer but I can’t find this info. After 3-4 days of the App not being upgraded to the pro version, I cancelled my subscription so that the developer would not be able to cheat me out of my money. I tired to request a refund from Apple, but the purchase was not found. I think that was because I had cancelled my subscription, but I thought Apple would search for the purchase transaction, not an app. I haven’t tried to call Apple for assistance, but I will & will post an update if anything changes, in the hope of helping others avoid this mistake. ### 1/5 — Trial Setup is a Set *2026-05-18* Sam problem for years, you cannot get to their paid version until the trial is OVER. ### 1/5 — Useless *2026-04-20* Couldn’t get interesting information. Stay Away ! *2023-08-02* I recently downloaded this app with high hopes, but it turned out to be a complete disaster. The app's functionality was nothing like what was advertised, and it failed to deliver on its promises. As if that wasn't bad enough, the developer has absolutely no regard for customer issues and refuses to address any difficulties faced while using this unreliable and deceptive app. I reached out to customer service multiple times, but to my dismay, I received zero responses. It's clear that they have no interest in providing any sort of support or assistance to their users. I even had to pay a hefty $24 fee, despite never intending to use this app in the first place. The whole experience left a bitter taste in my mouth. To make matters worse, obtaining a refund proved to be an impossible feat. The developer seems to conveniently ignore refund requests, leaving customers like me stuck with a useless app and a 24$ bill. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this app like the plague. It's a complete waste of time, money, and energy. The lack of developer responsiveness, combined with the misleading functionality and the inability to secure a refund, makes this app an absolute nightmare.
