Die am häufigsten von mir genutzte Funktion ist der Tab "Aktivitäten", welcher bislang als Startbildschirm geöffnet wurde und nun an letzter Stelle mehrerer Tabs gerückt ist. Nun muss ich also bei jedem Öffnen der App zunächst den Tab "Aktivitäten" auswählen. The bad habit I’ve now developed is that I avoid sending emails on my phone because I know they won’t get tracked and wait till I’m at the desktop to finally send them. Hopefully there will be more integration on the iOS side soon ### 1/5 — Auf Desktop? *2023-02-05, version Changed description* Bereits vor drei Jahren schrieb ein User namens uukrae, dass man nach der Installation direkt als erstes aufgefordert wird, Mailbutler auf dem Desktop zu installieren, bevor man die Mobile App nutzen könne. Der Entwickler antwortete (ebenfalls vor drei Jahren), dass man bereits an der Verbesserung der App arbeiten würde, und versuche, die App kompatibel mit iPad zu machen. Es scheint nichts passiert zu sein seitdem. Da ich ausschließlich ein iPad und ein iPhone benutze, ist die App nutzlos für mich und ich werde nun diese App auch wieder löschen - so, wie es uukrae schon drei Jahre zuvor tat. ### 2/5 — Problem beim senden an mehrere Personen *2023-01-24, version Changed description* Leider gibt es immer wieder ein Problem, wenn man eine E-Mail mit Mailbutler an verschiedene Personen gleichzeitig verschickt. Das wird dann oft angezeigt, dass die E-Mail nicht versendet werden konnte (- der Ausgangs-Server erkennt die eigene E-Mail Adresse nicht ) aber 99% der Teilnehmer kriegen dann trotzdem eine E-Mail - und „vermutlich“ eine Person nicht. Da man natürlich nicht weiß, wer die E-Mail nicht bekommen hat, schickt man das dann noch ein weiteres Mal und plötzlich haben die Teilnehmer die E-Mail zehn mal bekommen (auch wenn man diesen Vorgang nicht zehnmal getätigt hat). Das Problem besteht schon länger und ist für mich tatsächlich ein Grund auf Mailbutler zu verzichten.. sehr schade) ### 1/5 — MacBook Pro great iOS not so … *2022-10-19, version Changed description* I was asked about Mailbutler to see if it would work for me. I just need basic email tracking. Put this on my MacBook Pro and was impressed. It seemed to do what it says on the tin. I was then introduced to the iOS and iPadOS versions. Totally different experience. It does not do anything. Almost 75% of my email comes from either my iPhone or my iPad. Mailbutler does nothing. It cannot see emails to which I reply, send or in fact anything. Whether or not it would do anything under the full pad version is highly suspect as the basics that are included in all subscriptions simply does not work on iOS or iPadOS devices. All-in-all a great disappointment. ### 4/5 — It’s great, tho needs more iOS integration *2022-02-21, version 4908* It’s an amazing tool, but I work mostly from my iOS devices, iPhone and iPad also but not as often from my Mac so it would be great to have at least a mail client app where you were be able to compose emails from rather than just analytics of your emails sent from MacOS. I can also see this on the desktop. No integration with the mail client whatsoever. You can’t send mails through iOS for example using iPad for work and sending mails through wont get tracked and this is a huge bummer. Your simple answer is going to be apple does not allow for extension's. It doesn’t allow you to schedule or even send emails at all, and the email tab shows a random incomplete assortment (maybe 10%) of actual emails I can see in my Apple mail app. I was really hoping it would let me schedule emails from my phone the way the desktop app does, but it doesn’t. The tasks tab doesn’t show the tasks I set up on my desktop. Being able to pre-program emails to be sent at specific times has saved me from always having to be on call to send reminders to my boss. I can set and forget — and my computer doesn’t even need to be on. Another things I love is that Mailbutler tells me when emails I sent have been opened and even if the recipients have clicked on the links or opened the attachments. My third favorite thing is that I can stop the sending process within a set amount of time I configured, for those times you hit send and realize you forgot a detail or need to delete something.
