It would be really helpful if the keyboard remained at the bottom of the screen. Thanks! ### 3/5 — Good, but lately… *2022-02-25* This is an excellent app, and I’ve been using it for some years now, but… I have two groups of less than 50 (so it won’t get too big) that I send to very frequently. But recently some people in the group have been notifying me that they haven’t received the mailing that others in the group have. I’ve thought that maybe their settings needed changing. But when I go back into my MailShot, those entries are gone from my groups! I have to enter them again and resend… What?! This has happened with several mailings. These are people who have been receiving previous mailings, and suddenly they’re gone! My review will return to five stars when this issue is resolved. Please inform. I try to send from outbox and it still does not send. Help! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Does not include mail merge *2026-01-16* This is only the disappointment I have is that you can’t add placeholders into in-line spaces to add name last name and company, etc. You should be able to create a template with subject and body text where you can add named links, in line placeholders, using templates for both subject and body text. Otherwise this is a very pedestrian app. Sorry to say, but, you can send to groups in the iOS contacts app, as well as almost any other mail app like Spark. Make at least some of these improvements and I will change my review to five stars. ### 1/5 — Can’t paste *2018-01-09, version 6.3* Every time I try to paste an email stream, the program closes. I finally just deleted it, not worth my time. ### 1/5 — Don’t bother *2017-11-28* Hidden Is the fact you can only use 5 contacts. UNLESS YOU PAY. **Developer response:** The App Store description of this app tells you exactly what the limitations of the free version are. If you contact us through the Support button, we will be able to help (I was unable to respond when this review was originally posted, as that feature was added to the App Store later) ### 1/5 — Garbage *2015-09-18* Thanks iOS 9 for ruining a good app....can't send group emails from Mail on phone now .....app is useless....it is now deleted....garbage..... ### 1/5 — Beware the Contact List entries *2015-07-09* This app just made a mess of my contacts. All it did was create a contact entry with a list in a single email field. Then somehow all but the first item was lost from the list. So for weeks I thought I was sending messages to my team when I was really only sending them to one person. I'd rather have a less-integrated list that didn't arbitrarily edit my lists. **Developer response:** Hi. What you are describing was a change in the Mail app in iOS9. Mailshot has worked in a totally different way since iOS9 was introduced, and that can no longer occur, (Replying very late, as the ability to reply was not available when the original review was posted) ### 1/5 — Mail shot shot *2015-01-04, version 3.7* I added ten people to a group , and it only sends emails to three. So it doesn't work at all so far. £2.49 is very steep even if it did work. It is a complete failure that iOS doesn't have this feature anyway. Set up contacts from your phone contacts or hand enter some. Very easy to use. Customer service is very quick and helpful.
