It stopped working, Then I changed to the 18 public beta and it still not working. I need this app for my daughter on my phone because I need to use it when I take her out in public and not just at home. ### 1/5 — Logging in is a hassle *2024-09-07, version 2.5.9* There’s 3 places you have to fill in to log in (every time you open the app, I might add) which makes it impossible to auto populate password and username. So looking up and typing in username, password, and company code is a waste of 5 minutes of my day. Come on with us to 2024 where facial recognition is a thing!! ### 1/5 — Great in beginning then after an update- dead in the water *2024-06-29* So for over almost 3/4 of a year, I’ve not been able to use this app. All worked great then they updated the app then game over. I’ve been told “you’re the only one this is happening to”, but I seriously highly doubt that. I was having to manually enter time on their website and then once we figured out that the app works on my husband’s phone (iPhone 15 & mine is iPhone 14), then I had to start using his phone to log in. He wakes up super early and sometimes doesn’t get home til late… so yeah, that’s fun. I have compared my settings with his settings and we cannot find any differences that would affect my app not working. The app will load the first screen then once I hit the login button, it goes to a white screen and stays on that screen- nothing loads ever. Super frustrating, but every month I try to see if anything has changed… nope! Also, we have an iPad that doesn’t have any of the stuff that my phone does and it also will not allow me to login on it neither- we get the same white screen. ### 1/5 — Not working on new iPhone 14 *2024-05-22, version 2.5.9* This app never works says I have to be connected to internet when I am. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled several times and it still doesn’t work. When I can’t get logged in or timed in, I’ll completely lose pay because I am not allowed to edit. Now… after the most recent update I’m back to seeing the white screen. I’m losing my mind. This is ludicrous. ### 1/5 — iPhone 14 doesn’t work *2025-03-27, version 2.6.5* I had been using this app to clock in for over a year on my old iPhone SE phone, and I agree with every review that it is extremely finicky and glitchy and would often not work at all. The reason I’m finally writing a review now is because I switched my phone to an iPhone 14 last week, and ever since the app will not open AT ALL. It will continuously load with the Mains’l logo being the only thing on screen, and it never actually loads. How is an app that tracks people’s time sheets so bad that a phone transfer makes it completely unusable??! I’ve deleted it and redownloaded and same issue. It’s infuriating. I now have to log every single day manually on the website, which has also glitched on me before. And now every reason code for logging timesheets later on the site is because the app is malfunctioning. I saw another review citing the same issues with the iPhone 14. Why do the developers not care at all that probably hundreds or thousands of their employees cannot access the app?!! Is this ever going to be fixed or do I have to manually log hours every single day for the rest of this job??? LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS. Now those of us who can’t use the app are being threatened with delayed timesheet approval because they will be doing “MANUAL AUDITS” on all manually submitted timesheets. My broker even said they would kick my daughter off the MPW if I continue entering timesheets manually! It signs you out every 3 minutes for absolutely no reason, breaks constantly, and is completely unintuitive. 3 things that are not very fun in an app that is responsible for whether you get money or not. Writing this review because it has broken for the 3rd time in a month, and this time it is no longer even letting me manually input hours on the website. There are reviews on here from 3 years ago saying the exact same thing. No excuse. Terrible. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Better than the last EVV APP we used *2023-04-30* At first it was confusing how to update the timesheet to reflect actual hours allowed and how to edit the extra time. We tend to update/approve once a week which is helpful when clocking in daily as I do. This way if we forget to approve for any reason by the deadline I will see it the next time I start my time. I also set timers on my phone for clock in and clock out time. It’s helpful if you are not used to the routine. Two years in and it’s so much faster and better. Very happy with it. ### 5/5 — App *2022-01-08* This app is easy to use the main thing for me is to set an alarm to remind me when to clock in and clock out. I just started this so I never had to do the paper time sheets but to me it seems way easier than to sit down and write every single thing down and then if you made a mistake having to start all over again. I think it all has to do with what you are used to doing and having to get use to doing something else. ### 4/5 — Appreciate the updates! *2021-06-20* This app has certainly been a work in progress and the last update fixed some major bugs. It works well now and I rarely have an issue. ### 3/5 — Update checklist to match FMS timesheet *2022-12-18* There are three things this app needs to update. 1. Checklist on app needs to match checklist on the FMS website. Things I need to check are not available in app during a visit but show on web timesheet. 2. The most common complaint with all users. Auto sign in, Face ID, remember me, just anything to save sign in please. 3. Analog and digital clock or something with the seconds. Lol ### 3/5 — New user *2021-01-07* I only gave it a 3 Star because I haven’t really started using it yet but it looks like it will be quick and easy and more convenient to use. I will need to remember to login to stop my time. Not a big deal. Suggestion - it would be nice and helpful to have a “Remember Me” or maybe a Face ID login (iPhone) so we do not have to type in the login info each time. ### 3/5 — Can’t even log in *2021-01-05* I’ve entered the login information given to me and it says it’s incorrect and I cannot log in. I’m sure I’m entering it correctly although it would be helpful if there was a “show password” option so that I can see what I’m typing and know 100% that I’m inputting the correct information ### 2/5 — Mainsl EVV *2024-06-29, version 2.5.9* This app definitely has a lot of difficulties while clocking in & out. ### 2/5 — Needs to utilize facial recognition on devices *2023-08-25* Sometimes logging in and logging out takes more time than the actual service time that I am providing! This is much too difficult and takes too much time, when you are dealing with toilet assistance or things of that nature that aren’t planned actions. If I could clock in using a one touch action and facial recognition it would make things much easier ### 2/5 — Not intuitive *2023-07-13, version 2.5.5* It’s a shame that such an important app designed to ultimately help those with special needs, is one of the most convoluted apps I’ve ever used. This seems to be typical for any government related computer program, it is poorly designed and executed. Sad to see this. ### 2/5 — Reliable but inconvenient & inconsistent *2022-01-25, version 2.4.5* App does not support FaceID or TouchID for log in. Instead, UN, Company Id, and Password almost be entered to clock in and out. App can be buggy when it comes to logging out, no offering all the services in the list. When this happens, have to log out, log back in, over and over to get the full services list to populate. Using the side menu is very buggy, and you have to press the buttons a certain way or they do not work.
