Why did I spend so much time earning cash and spending it on flies for fish that don’t even appear to exist in the game (namely steelhead and salmon species)? Arrows point left and right on the maps but don’t allow you to switch screens beyond the same six rivers...seems like the developers never finished the game. Too bad because it was a lot of fun for a while (but now is quickly becoming boring) and was giving me my wilderness fix while stuck at home during shelter-in-place. The physics used for the currents are unique and add a lot to the game play. However, I’m always having to shut the game down when I hook a fish and my reel fails to pull in any line. The status bars don’t move and the fish just swims in tight circles in the pool I caught him. Another irritating glitch is catching a fish that appears to be strong and after a long fight his energy bar replenishes to half way over and over again. I tried upgrading reels and rods to no avail. It is super realistic and it is simple enough to not get confused. I love how you can choose the fish you want to target and choose all of the gear on top of that! The fish are so realistic and fun to catch! I like how you can even mount the fish unlike other fishing games.
