## What is Maintain Calorie?

Is the number from an online calculator really *your* number?
Maintain Calorie reverse-calculates your maintenance level from your own weight and intake data.
Observation, not assumption. A value derived from your data, for you.

■ How it works
The app applies linear regression to the past 14 days of body weight to derive a daily change rate (kg/day), then combines it with your average intake:

Maintenance kcal = Average intake − Weight change rate × Energy coefficient (7700 or 7200 kcal/kg)

If you're losing weight, the result will be higher than your average intake — confirming your real burn is greater than what you ate.

Maintain Calorie pulls 14 days of body weight and dietary energy from HealthKit automatically. Bring in the data you already log in another app.
