I hope to continue to use it for years to come. Worth every penny. Thanks for keeping it alive!!! As an aviation maintenance technician, I know the value of maintaining good record keeping of an aircraft, component, etc. Having that history and being reminded of upcoming maintenance is key in having a safe, reliable vehicle. Bikes are no different. This app covers that need in spades! As of 5/4/24 my only desire is the ability to download and save the data in some form that allows storing/viewing the data independent of the app, like a spreadsheet or similar. As far as I can tell the data is completely dependent on the app. Should the developer decide to quit supporting the app (which has happened to me with other maintenance tracking apps) the data is totally lost. I think having this maintenance data would be a HUGE plus for both a buyer and seller of a bike or component. Unfortunately strava does allow import of components but I use this now because it's much easier to track maintenance on multiple bikes per component. I'd love to see an export feature so you could download your maintenance history. The customisable schedules and ability to track components across bikes is great. I couldn't find better ### 5/5 — Outstanding *2023-04-05, version 1.7.9* With multiple bikes, multiple pieces of equipment, shoes, lights and tyres it’s been difficult to keep track of usage and maintenance status until now. This app does it all and prompts me to charge Lights, headunit, and group set plus when to service components, bikes and trainer. No mais, parabéns pelo app! ### 5/5 — Great app for bike maintenance *2022-06-05* MainTrack is a very useful app for scheduling, tracking and reviewing a history of bike maintenance. Very nice to be able to monitor wear and to schedule maintenance for specific components. It syncs well with Strava rides. I receive a notification at the end of each ride showing the total bike mileage and the number of rides on that bike. The developer is very prompt about responding to any issues. Awesome support and communication. Keep up the great work! ### 5/5 — mainTrack *2022-03-04* Excellent application. The best so far, nothing came close as far as I know. App suggestion, category for Di2 wireless components. And accessories category that behaves like the parts categories. Thank you very much. Love the app so much!!! ### 5/5 — Easy track when bike needs a service *2022-02-21, version 1.7.5* I love the app! In the past I would have a spreadsheet where I enter all the service I’ve done on my bike. At that time I had to go to Strava and manually calculate the hours I rode on the bike, especially, if it span across years. I would have to scroll through my sheet to figure out the last time I did this or that service. With the app all of that is the past. It’s easy to see when the next service is due. It allows entering maintenance plan once and then be reminded about the due date. If the service is based on hours of riding, it tells you when approximately the maintenance will be due so you can plan to service your bike before a big trip, for example. It allows you to retire a part and enter new one instead. There all the features I could ask for! The interface is very pleasant and it makes me want to use app. There are no glitches or weird things and it’s very intuitive. I liked the app so much that I paid for it (optional tip). It will be one of 3 apps I’ve ever paid money for. ### 5/5 — Great app *2021-10-26* Best way I have found to track bike maintenance! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Péssimo aplicativo *2021-07-11, version 1.7.3* Aplicativo trabalha lento em responder comandos após atualização do App. O App é desorganizado em relação á serviços e planos de manutenção, muitos erros de sincronismo com o strava, onde atividades entram no duplicadamente após a atividade. Esse App, ao invés de ajudar a controlar manutenção , acaba sendo prejudicial para a manutenção da bike, pois atividade entrando duplicada , gera erro de quilometragem / uso e você acaba se confundindo em relação a manutenção. Erros ao excluir componentes e ou serviços, onde não são excluídos após tentativas. Relatei várias vezes por alguns períodos de tempo onde o desenvolvedor não conseguiu solucionar o problema e você vai percebendo outros problemas e o desenvolvedor passa a te ignorar a ponto de você desistir de usar o aplicativo. No meu caso foi tão prejudicial que eu cheguei até ligar na Apple reclamando do App e o desenvolvedor alegou que eu nunca havia entrado em contato com ele e como eu informei a Apple que tenho todas as minhas comunicações com o desenvolvedor salvas no e-mail, o desenvolvedor mudou o discurso dele, dizendo que eu entrei somente uma vez, mas na verdade precisei entrar várias vezes em contato , ele acha insistência mas na verdade se o App fosse bom, eu nunca precisaria entrar em contato. Péssimo atendimento com a equipe de suporte em relação aos erros citados acima, reportei a equipe de suporte no mínimo 6x por 2 anos tentando me adaptar com o app sobre todos os erros citados acima e o desenvolvedor não conseguiu corrigir os erros e prestou um atendimento insatisfatório para mim que me fez desistir de usar o App . Não sei como esse App permanece na Apple. Excluí definitivamente esse aplicativo do meu aparelho. Recomendo não instalar para não ter dor de cabaça com o uso , nem mediante à manutenção de suas Bikes !!! ### 1/5 — Won’t sync *2021-02-03* Stopped syncing but before that happened I’d give this app 5stars ### 1/5 — Needs User Instructions or a FAQ! *2019-03-30* The Maintrack app shows that my bikes are synced with Strava, but the mileage doesn’t register. Strava indicates I’ve risen about 1000 mi between my two bikes since oven downloaded Maintrack, but Maintrack still says 0 mi for both bikes. The app seems to have some great features, but they are useless if it won’t record the miles I’ve put on my bikes. I’m sure the issue is easy to resolve, but without an FAQ or instructions, I can’t determine which setting I need to change. Please provide some instructions for the user on your website! **Developer response:** Hi Biochem Biker, thanks a lot for your helpful review! Indeed our website is well due an update, but we are totally focused in improving mainTrack and creating new features. However I'll definitely prioritize the creation of an instructions section in our Support page as soon as possible. Meanwhile, you can always contact us through our website, Facebook page and Twitter. And to be quite frank with you, I find a bit harsh from your side to have given us a bad rating for an app that is full of cool features and totally FREE, before at least trying to contact our support team to report a bug or ask for help. This is extremely disappointing for us, as we endeavour to provide a great user experience. Indeed there was a problem with Strava connection that has just been fixed and submitted to the App Store. I'm sorry that this issue has disappointed you so much, but I guarantee that once you start using the app you will enjoy a lot and realize that the rating that you gave us was very unfair. ### 2/5 — Great idea, needs work on Strava syncing *2023-08-16* This app seems to require that bikes be mapped exactly to bikes in Strava. It would be far better IMO to enable syncing of all activities in Strava and then assigning bikes from the app listing. This way, one can keep the specifics of their bikes out of strava (for instance calling all mountain bikes owned ‘mountain bike’, instead of showing the world what you have in your garage), yet still use the sync function. And lets face it, without the sync function to track mileage there is little reason to use this app. **Developer response:** Hi there, thanks for your valuable feedback. I'm sorry you’ve missed a fundamental part of mainTrack, as it does *EXACTLY* what you are suggesting. The app is quite flexible when it comes to synchronising Strava rides with your gear. If you had contacted our support, we would be more than happy to guide you through how to achieve what you want. ### 2/5 — Crash *2021-08-13* Really liked the interface, but once it was setup it continually crashed. Open, pedal spin for about five seconds, then closed. Every time. Deleted. **Developer response:** Hi there, thank you so much for your valuable feedback. Indeed there was an issue with the app after Strava updated their API yesterday, which has been urgently fixed and a new release of mainTrack is available on the App Store. You can download it now and continue using the app! Hab nicht jede Art von Komponente drin, mir geht es vor allem um meine Ketten. Super Übersicht, man kann Ketten virtuell wechseln, sodass es immer dem echten Stand entspricht. Am Anfang war jede Kette in einem Beutel mit Zettel, auf dem ich Wechseldatum und gefahrene Kilometer notiert hab. Mit der App alles digital zu verwalten. This app does an amazing job of tracking everything and auto updating mileage and usage via Strava. Can’t recommend this app enough ### 5/5 — Highly recommended *2025-08-24* Terrific app! I do my own bike maintenance and it’s a great way to keep track of what needs doing based on accumulated mileage. I wax my chain and it lets me know when I need to do a quick drip wax touch up vs a full melted wax treatment. I previously tracked this manually with a spreadsheet but now it’s all automated! If you use your local shop for maintenance you can keep track of where and when it was done as well as cost. A near perfect app for its intended use.
