Hello, I have your app for awhile now and I’m trying to find recipes there I saw before but they don’t exist anymore. Like Yuzu Sesame Tart and Blackcurrant… How do I get them back?

Hello, after updating the appl, there are some features that are not very comfortable in comparison to the old version. Some cons: First, it has no more favorite recipe’s tab where you can save your favorite recipes instead every time you have to scroll and search it again Second, it had very comfortable sections: ingredients and instruction that is no more there Third, in the instruction section there was possibility to cross out the cooking steps once they are completed, now it is just a single list. Pro: more photos and as usual the recipes are top notch and truly are the pieces of art :) Thank you very much!

Gorgeous recipes and photography. I haven’t made anything yet so can’t comment further, however, I have noticed that the height of the rings in each recipe are not included. Is it possible to add this? Thank you!

Few recipes compared to those posted on instagram (there are no constant updates on the app) and very very synthetic recipes, with some details or small steps that you have to guess by yourself. Given the price, I expected better

This app is very well done, with outstanding photography, navigation is also very smooth with nothing in between, it’s just you and the recipe. With the Big Sur update would be lovely to have the same app running on MacOS, I’m sure it’ll get there.

Every recipe should have at least two photos: one showing the finished work and another showing the dessert cut so you can see the inside. The assembly is not explained thoroughly and also a couple of photos showing the assembly would make it better. There is no explanation whatsoever on the decorations. She is an amazing chef but refuses to give away the step by step which is a key factor in an elaborate dessert. I hope an upgrade is in a near future.

Fantastic recipes but the bookmark feature doesn’t work. Clicking on the heart in the recipe works but then going to the favorites section of the main menu doesn’t list the favorited recipes.

Love the app in English and recipes are great. Small point I have noticed that the blackcurrant triangle recipe has not got the quantity of gelatine listed in the recipe, can you help?

These recipes are stunning and very inspiring. The app is clean and nice to use, very good layout. Would definitely recommend if you love a challenge!

One criticism is sometimes there is a lack of detail in the instructions, especially on many of the more technical parts

I love her work! I’m honestly shocked that the price is only $5.99 to get her recipes. Much cheaper than having to buy a cookbook. 
Some negatives are that some pictures are not in focus and remain blurry. Another down side is that not all of her recipes are on it. I mainly bought the app for a raspberry cheesecake she made a while back, which I could not find in the app.
I’m sure the longer she has the app available she will work out all the kinks.

I’m having trouble viewing the recipes, when i click on said dessert, there’s no recipe shown, only the picture and its name. Also i miss the “favorites” section. Im guessing the developer is focusing a little too much on the app design rather user experience and what maja has to offer.

The photography is so beautiful and recipes are very detailed. However, the functionality of the app has always been quite poor, the latest update has completely signed me out of access to the recipes with no way of logging back in or getting access back. Please can this be looked into.

I tried to contact the author, developer of the app they all block messages. The only thing that works it’s to purchase it again. Says my email it isn’t recognised and i have proof of purchase. Can someone can in contact?! Is this page hacked?!

I’ve been using this app for years, and it has generally been easy to navigate and find great recipes by Maja Vase. However, with the recent update to the app’s design, the user experience has significantly declined. While it is minimal and visually appealing, navigating it has become quite frustrating. When you start a search, a list of recipes appears, but although there is a left arrow to return to the homepage, the search icon seems to be missing or only occasionally appears on the bottom right-hand side. 

This app would greatly benefit from having a content list. Since the recipes are chocolate-based, it would make sense to have a list organized by each type of chocolate. It’s disappointing because the recipes themselves are excellent. If you want your customers to feel valued, this design approach does not achieve that.

No recipe. Saying « Check your internet connection and try to restart the app » but nothing works. 
I hope it will be fixed to get to the amazing recipes I’m looking for.

Doesn’t have detailed instructions and false recipe. Some important ingredients aren’t mentioned in the recipe like the gelatine. Very disappointed with this purchase.

I Down loaded this app to learn to make this beautiful glaze since it said it gave recipes. But can’t find recipe for any of the cakes in the photo. Very disappointing

Thank you for your review! When Maja writes in Instagram that a recipe is in the app, it is always there. If you can't find it, try searching for it in the app, and don't hesitate to ask her on Instagram if it's too well hidden.

The app is not in English, and there is no way to translate.  The pictures never come fully into focus.  Very disappointed.

Thank you for your review! There is a button in the menu that switches between Danish and English, did you try that? And the pictures load small sizes first, with the larger sizes only being loaded if there is a good connection and enough space on the phone. If they do not appear after at most a minute, please write me an email and I'll look into it.

I have also never written a review before but ive never seen an app that deserves 5 stars like this one does! All the desserts look AMAZING! The ingredients are easy to get and the prep is pretty simple. If i could work with whoever makes these that would be a dream come true. I just have one problem and that’s with the type of gelatin leaves being used.

Originally I rated this app 4 stars because the recipes assume prior baking experience and is more of an app for intermediate bakers. However, I’m updating my review to 5 stars because I realize that not every recipe or app needs to cater to beginners. Maja’s work is gorgeous, so it is reasonable to assume that her techniques are more advanced. Her recipes are clear but minimal and don’t hold your hand, so I do need to research on my own and google the techniques she mentions, which is fine. I am a beginner so I have extra research to do in order to follow these recipes, but that’s not the app’s fault. The app still deserves all 5 stars. I am also updating my review to 5 stars because after having the app for a few weeks, I’ve come to find a lot of comfort in just browsing the beautiful photos and recipes. I’m still waiting for my ingredients and equipment to arrive in the mail from Europe, so I haven’t been able to start baking her recipes yet, but even just browsing this app brings me a lot of calm and joy. I’m sure it will bring me even more joy once my ingredients arrive and I can start baking. Thank you so much for sharing your recipes!

I love your recipes and your cakes so much!! It would be better if you add some pictures or videos to instructions for recipes. It pretty hard for a newbie like me to understand some parts. By the way it’s still worth the money ☺️.

I bought this app right after it was uploaded. I was following Instagram page and I really like this beautiful cakes and desserts. As a pastry chef I found this app very useful and nice. It’s probably the best that you can find in App Store. 
I like that you pay once, but it always updated. Not like you are buying just 10 recipes. Also a good thing that all of it can be repeated by someone who doesn’t have pastry chef skills. I have been done almost all of it, and all tastes amazing. I even ordered Valrhona chocolate to feel real taste of author. 😅 However it tastes good with other chocolate brands.
Thank you again, for the one of the best purchase in my life. 😊

I just bought this app and I must say so far I think it’s the best app I’ve ever had on my phone. I’ve been following Maja’s work on instagram and been inspired by it for quite some time and all the recipes I’ve replicated have been a huge success. I can’t wait to get down to work with these new ones!

Feedback to the devs the bookmark feature is confusing - it seems like the heart icon on top right of a recipe is the way to bookmark because the icon on the bookmark menu is a heart.  But the heart doesn’t seem to do anything but update the like count on a recipe.  You have to use the bookmark icon itself lower in the recipe page, which I find confusing.  

I also wish the molds were more precise - diameter is typically given but not depth.  

But love the pictures and recipes generally!

Thank you so much! Those are good suggestions, we'll look into fixing them. The depth of most silicone moulds used for cakes is 5 cm - I'll see if I can't fit that information in there too.

I don’t agree with reviewer regarding the quality of pictures. I have this app on my phone and it is absolutely perfect. 
The instructions and ingredient lists are great. I can’t wait to try out one of her amazing recipes.
